Figuring out minimum amount of calories for bulking on a cycle. Without gaining too much fat and without overloading digestive organs. If some of you were skinny dudes in past and remember how many calories did you eat daily on your first cycle? Please only answer if you were a skinny hard gainer before you got on gear. Also no hate in comments pls let's keep to the topic <3 :)

I was 150lbs when I started, I think I’m a hard gainer. My maintenance cals are around 3000.. I’m eating 4000-4500 cals daily now and I still don’t gain any fat my diet is also not exactly what one would call clean, like 65-75% clean food, the rest fast food and pork, but im am making excellent gains on 200mg test and 4iu hgh.

edit, I’m also 6ft maybe 6ft 1,

I went all in on my first cycle and ate around 6000 calories a day. Got pretty fat, but gained a lot of good size that showed once I cut back down.

Nice. Were you eating 4000 when you were doing you first cycle? And if you remember what was roughly your weight?

@Clark Cooper this thread doesn't make a lot of sense.

What is your current body fat percentage?
What is your maintenance calories?

If you don't know maintenance and haven't been playing with calories how will you know how much to add or subtract? It takes lots of time to learn your body, watching the scale as you adjust and get dialed in.

Stop worrying about losing abs ect. If you are bulking from 12% let's say, then you might hit 14 or 15 percent. You will still be lean!

Personally YEARS before gear (in another sport)I was 6"4" just shy of 200lbs. sitting at 12% body fat. Daily maintenance was 3600 to 3800 based on MY activity level. if you don't work a physical job or train cardio for over a hour a day before lifting it could be a LOT less for you.

My first cycle I was at 4100 cals.

Some info on you would help us greatly to answer your question.

How tall are you? Bf%? Current activity level? Diet? ECT

Also based on your previous threads......there are ways of eating enough without "organ stress " I had colitis and still manage to eat and it took time to adjust for that! I couldn't eat certain things without pain and vomit and not leaving the toilet.

In his intro post he said he was 5'2 106lbs (20% bodyfat) new to the gym and interested in weights but doesn't want to life more than once a month.

Nobody can tell you this. How many calories you need is too individual to say "eat this much."

It depends on your job, activity level, starting size, how hard you hit it in the gym, how much cardio you do etc. Nobody is going to be able to give you an informed answer without that information.

I just gave you the info, I wish I was eating 4000cals when I started, I just couldn’t do it, it’s taken a few months to really stretch out my stomach to be able to handle the food.. I was 150lbs when I started. It took me about 4 months to get to 170, but I also hold almost no water at all no matter what I’m on. I’m about 190 something now and that’s about 3 or 4 months after hitting 170, however I’m only on 200mg test and 4iu hgh now. Gained just about 11lbs total in my last slin run last month, and than cut down about 2-3lbs of fat while trying to bulk on 4500cals, but it seems like I’m recomping but growing slowly in size and slowly weight think I may need to up cals to 5000-5500 daily.

Ha nice disinformation post intended to be a kind-of-trolling but comes across more like a lie bullshit :D I ain't never said or give stats like that about myself. Good try ;)

Bodyfat no less than 15% Weight 82.5 kg, Height 6'1. Fully sedentary aside from gym strength program 3 days a week. Maintenance who knows some web sources say 3000 some say 2800. So hard to really figure out. Hmm 4100 cals is a lot but you are also significantly taller than me. I eat 3500 daily been like that for a couple of months I gained about 1.5 kilo of fat and feel like I'm forcing food down my throat at least once a day. Probs need to eat less for now tbh. OR maybe eat less on the days off gym.. Not sure! When I start a cycle probs gonna eat that much (3500) again. I am not on any gear right now so just finding out in advance.

Hmm so you were eating less than 4000?

No. Just no. You have 0 business using gear now or in the near future. You keep making the same fucking posts asking the same questions and wonder why your vagina hurts after eating 2000 calories of McDonalds in one sitting. Go join a forum that isn’t steroids and learn the basics of just lifting and eating. Come back in a few years, or when you don’t listen and fuck yourself up - we’ll be here for ya

NOT hard to figure out. Eat 2800 daily for a week or two and see what the scale does.

Goes up? Surplus.
Goes down? Deficit.
Stays the same? Maintenance.

Also, get your macros from real food made yourself so you know what is in it. Get plenty of eggs and meat. Protein powder is a supplement, not a meal. Carbs rice sweet potato, potato, fats nuts, egg yolks, olive oil . . .

You'll thank me later if you get your diet sorted now, before your first cycle. It will work so much better.

My first cycle - I gained weight and got leaner <---- No Bullshit. Meals were clean and boring but consistent daily. Eggs, oats, chicken, rice, spinach, not much variation at all, but it worked. 8 eggs and two pounds of meat daily.

Sounds like you need a app and most importantly a food scale! You how do you know what your eating without it?

Gear won't do shit all for you unless you train AND eat properly.

Take the advice of @malfeasance . Don't touch gear yet, first learn your body and how to track it!Screenshot_20201004-100953~2.png Screenshot_20201006-110556.png IMG_20201006_1111442.jpg

I always like to help out a fellow ectomorph.
I would pretend like gear doesn't exist for you yet, Work out 5 days a week and eat everything in sight. If you're really around 15% BF, And actually a hard gainer ectomorph, Stay the coure and only dial back calories if your BF gets out of control.

You want to get much closer to your genetic potential before tryint any AAS. Steroids only create an environment where building muslce can happen faster. They are not magic. Your diet, Training, And discipline have to be on point first.
