One of my favorite professors in college argued that Democrats and Republicans are basically the same. His courses had big impact on me. I wonder what he thinks today.

Surely you jest with the false equivalencies. Writing legislation? Passing legislation? Enforcing legislation? Plagiarizing a story?

I'm very sure at this point you know what I'm about lol. The idea here that I am using equivalencies to justify the behavior of the current administration is laughable. I in no way shape or form am defending anyone!

As to the false part. Joe Biden did in fact personally pen the Senate version of the crime bill. 3 strikes rules etc have disproportionately affected the black community. Harris and her tough on crime policies and following federal guidelines aka "the crime bill" did also disproportionately affect the black community in California.

Harris herself criticised Joe Biden in the debates for it lol. She has even admitted the her enforcement policies caused harm!

If it hadn't been for the hatred of Trump there is absolutely no way those two would ever hold the offices they are about to accept! That to me is very wrong! You were a nation stuck between Biden and Trump. Asking people to vote on that is like asking if you wanted to be neutered or castrated.

When partisan lines are more important than accountability that's a problem. You can't absolve "your" candidate and forget their history because it suits a current political goal. It only enforces the fact that they can do whatever they want without being held accountable by the voters (Their fucking employer). This applies to BOTH sides and is not directed at you.

I'm all for capitalism but when the only people that can effect policy and drive change is the lobby you have a real problem now. With no clear path out!

Edit: no I am not Sworder and have no desire to see anarchy or rebellion or loss of life haha.

I think many people go through an Objectivist stage in their early 20s. Most people grow out of it, since it's a puerile, flawed philosophy that is full of holes and contradictions. Those who don't grow out of it apparently become lawmakers, judging by the current state of affairs.

When I was 22, The Fountainhead was life-changing. When I read it now it's just cringey.

Even though as a whole later in life it is, you're correct "cringey" some concepts are still important.

They did not start with her nor was she the last. Starting with Hermetic principles all the way to Dr Peterson. All the same tradition worded differently for different times and peoples. A lot of people can grow for a time by adopting the idea of self responsibility.

Just to clarify, "false equivalencies" means the equivalency is false. It doesn't dispute anything you said about Biden.

Of the 80 million people that supposedly voted Biden, I’d love to meet just ONE that could attempt to persuade me that Biden is the better President based on his policies. It seems it was purely I voted “not Trump”.

Poor Joe really thinks the record number of voters really LIKE him. Truth is they don’t care as long as he’s not a big mean bully.

General Mike Flynn, who actually worked on elections in foreign countries as part of his job, recently gave an interview. He estimated that in reality Trump received between 350 and 400 electoral votes...essentially obliterating Biden.
