Lol what? NOBODY who died was unvaccinated? That is complete bullshit. Do you recall all the people who went on TV and social media, bawling their eyes out because their mom/dad/whatever just died and didn't get the vaccine, and then they were urging others to get the vaccine? That is fake too? Are they ALL paid shills? If so, that is definitely getting to the level of delusional. I'd urge you to take a step back and really try to look at the situation objectively. You think that what, big pharma is paying people to go on Meso and try to shill for the vaccine? C'mon man that is just too ridiculous.
Look man, I read plenty of studies and have read plenty of peer-reviewed studies on this subject.
Let's take a gander: Every article on that site is simply cherry picking studies to support their points. "150 articles against masks", "75 artcles against school closures". In the former, he literally just takes a single quote out of the study that supports their point. Then calls it a "Review" of the "studies"? That is SOOO misleading!! Most of them don't even appear to be actual STUDIES!!!
This website is a perfect example of someone having an AGENDA and trying to convince everyone else of it. They are also counting on people to just read their quotes and not actually click through to the source. It sure was nice of them to include links though, because I can tell you I had a wonderful time reading through those....
Let us take a closer look at those "150 studies" you urged us to read:
Most importantly: of those 150 "studies" many of them don't even appear to be actual STUDIES!!! They definitely aren't peer reviewed, many aren't even published in any journals, a bunch of them are just fucking BLOG POSTS.
- He cited a CBC article that literally is titled, "London high school teacher calls face masks an 'egregious and unforgivable form of child abuse'". Again, wasn't this supposed to be a REVIEW of STUDIES? As in MEDICAL STUDIES? I actually really hope not. because it sure as hell isn't.
- Another one is from "Brownstone Institute" that is just a persuasive piece who's main argument is that we are damaging the development of children's ability to recognize faces by surrounding them with people who wear masks (as though children aren't still seeing people without masks at various functions, on TV/social media, etc.
- Another is from "American Thinker" (another fucking blog post, absolutely NOT even close to a scientific study or a study of any kind at all) that literally just starts out by saying "Wearing masks can create a sense of anonymity for an aggressor, while also dehumanizing the victim. This prevents empathy, empowering violence and murder." There isn't a single statistic in the entire article. Nothing about any increase in murder or violence or anything. The entire blog post then continues on with a lot of "Masks CAN do _____". Also, why don't we extend this to scarves and sunglasses and other things that cover portions of our face during sunny or cold days? Why are MASKS so special?
- One of the things he cites (this one was an actual published study) even says "Face masks SHOULD be worn by those who have symptoms of a respiratory infection." Guess why? BECAUSE IT STOPS THE SPREAD! But you are against that too. THEN it also says "Face masks should be reserved for those who need them because masks can be in short supply during periods of widespread respiratory infection. Because N95 respirators require special fit testing, they are not recommended for use by the general public." So they are acknowledging that N95 respirators are beneficial for the wearer, but they say that the general public shouldn't even try to wear them because they need to fit properly and references supply chain issues. Well the supply chain issues for masks are no longer an issue, so that point is moot. Yes, it's true that they need to fit proper, but it's also true that you can fit them yourself pretty easily if you're not a complete idiot.
@Inspired , I admire your ability to question and think outside the box. I think you need to be very careful though about where you are consuming information from and especially careful about not falling victim to confirmation bias. We all do at some point or another, but especially with topics like this where emotions run high and people get very passionate, we much be more vigilant than ever that we are consuming information from sources with integrity. I do not consider that "review" to have much of any integrity whatsoever.
As far as I am concerned, after looking through the article and clicking through to check out several of the "studies", my mind is not changed in the slightest. This is such a low quality source of information it is laughable.
You say that you don't provide sources for what you write because people don't read. On the contrary. I personally would gladly read sources for your claims. Please do post them. If they're quality, then I will 100% acknowledge that. If they're not...well, then I will criticize them. Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.
Masks work to prevent the spread. It's well proven. They obviously work the best when everyone wears them, but that just aint gonna happen. So I will wear my N95 or better mask and reduce my exposure to illnesses including COVID, Colds, Flus, etc. Because as I said, I don't like getting sick. Life is much better when you're healthy

First off, you ignore the studies because you don't like the flavor of the website. There are great studies in there but you cherrypick the parts that you think are weak, but you don't actually read any of the studies. Ok.

Everyone has their own truth, you can't say you're more right than the next person. That's just your opinion and everyone has one. It's okay to discuss, but excessively pushing your point of view on to others is viewed as negativity and not a friendly behavior. So healthcare workers have been wearing masks for general viral illnesses for over 40 years. Coronavirus, rhinovirus, adenovirus, parvovirus, influenza, parainfluenza.
Being in the same enclosed room as them etc. Switching out masks every time they enter/exit the room. But for some reason it is ineffective now? I am not even talking about n95
We never saw an influx of hospital workers getting sick. So I think alot of this falls on improper education of the public.
