For gut biome I drink about 8-10 oz of kombucha a day. Has more beneficials than yogurt, easy to brew at home it’s just sugar and black tea that sits for 30 days. When it’s done right it taste like vinegar and has no sugar left so your just drinking strait benifitial bacteria.
That may help with the gut rebuild efforts? Also a little bit of vinegar before meals aids digestion greatly. Whey is predigested so it’s very easily absorbed, maybe some meals focused around whey? I do a keto cereal, whey protein and cottage cheese meal at least once a day.
