Many spine surgeries go well i find. Depends on the Dr. and if the surgery being done is actually right for the problem being had. Just because i disc has issues doesn't mean it is causing a problem and need fixing. I had spine surgery 11 years ago. Had a fusion, Laminectomy, Pedicle screws and rods implanted to take care of the Spondylolisthesis , grade 3 that i had. Along with collapsed discs and a few other issues. Was back home the next morning and back to work and the gym a week later. An MRI 4 years ago after car hit me at 60mph+ while sitting at a light showed every disc from S1-T12 was herniated or bulged but they give me no real issues. Down to machine squats using 3-4 plates. Staying as strong as you can and having a knowledgeable surgeon have a lot of benifits i find.
