That's amazing, you have know Idea, how much that helps. I have a doctor whom he and I have a great relationship and I am blessed that if I am honest about what I will use a medication for and it makes sense he will write me the script, so this helps out big time.

Any doctor who hesitates to write a Moda script, while writing Adderall scripts all day long, like most of them do, has a screw loose or more likely has no familiarity with it and how benign it is.
It amusing to hear how many medical professionals write each other scripts for it to keep up performance on long shifts, just like the military does. Even the FAA came close to suggesting it be stocked on commercial aircraft as an alternative
to the endless cups of coffee pilots are given on long haul flights.
Eugeroics offer a costly—but effective—alternative to caffeine for the sleep deprived. We all struggle with night shifts. The 4 a.m. mental fog that descends on everyone can make it difficult to focus on managing the minute-but-critical details of a department full of patients. Wouldn’t it be...
Do you notice a strong difference with focus on semax? I have some in my fridge but never took it long enough to notice much (and was in prep so i don’t think anything would’ve helped me focus).
Ive noticed with semax but not semax amidate, which Ive heard was supposed to be better. Semax also works well in combo with the addy but of course be cautious doing this.
Im giving it a shot again this time using it for a longer duration before was only a few days. it definitely helps with cognition but dont get a big boost of energy
Psychostimulants, such as methylphenidate, are currently the most common used drug therapy for children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, a number of patients with ADHD either fail to respond to these drugs or experience side effects that preclude their use. The...

YMMV also with semax depending on if you go sub q or intranasal. Intranasal seems to be preferred method generally, but I do not like the idea of iffy bac water being shot into the neighborhood of my brain. I have done both, but the intranasal was via drops. Id try spray next time if I were to forego sub cutaneous.
Yeah it's fine. A failing liver will make Modafinil stronger and last longer, and it has no effect on the kidneys, it just so happens the metabolites being eliminated after the drug is broken down by the enzymes generated in the liver, stink. After a few months you can't even smell them any more.
I tried it now for a few days, 100-200 mg in the morning. Dosage doesn't make too much difference, it just keeps me awake too long. Not worth the effects for me. I could see it as something that you take when you are sleep deprived but otherwise it doesn't help my adhd too much.
A bit better focus and less impulsivity, but i get the same problems with task switching that i get from other uppers. Also kinda zombified feeling, very dull and emotionless.
Note that i'm also on tren, so it probably contributes to the insomnia.

It's doesn't have nearly as rapid of an effect on ADHD as adderall. Certainly not a few days. But then it has nothing like the awful sides if adderall either.
But then an inability to stick to things very long and impatience is a core symptom of adhd, worsened by Tren.
Have been trying out modafinil for a few months now at 50mg daily. It seems to be great for wakefulness and a small improvement in focus. You'd almost forget that you're on anything at such low dose but one day of subpar sleep without modafinil and you'll know.
@Ghoul You seem to have read way too much about modafinil. Did you ever come across anything that would indicate modafinil + sugar not going very well together? I've tried 100mg a few times and it was great taking it with or after normal meals but I've had a bit of anxiety and overstimulation for a few hours when I combined about 50g of fast carbs with 100mg of modafinil on an empty stomach. This was not the case with 50 - 75mg, only 100mg. I was wondering if it was an anomaly or something that is observed in research, anecdotal reports

When diabetics experience hypoglycemia, low blood sugar, they suffer from a decline in cognitive function, so they often don't realize they're suffering from this life threatening condition. In addition, unconscious responses to low blood sugar levels controlled by the brain are impacted as well, and the body doesn't respond the way it usually would to regulate it, by signaling the liver to release sugar.
Several studies have shown Modafinil makes diabetics aware hypoglycemia is happening AND the automatic responses also function much better when they've been given a dose of Moda.
The mechanism hasn't been identified, but Modafinil seems to make the brain more aware of blood sugar levels on both a conscious level and in unconscious functions.
So I'm not surprised to hear what you're describing. I'll bet you're sensing high blood sugar. It was likely happening before, but Moda makes you aware of it.

Interesting, that could be the case with sensing a spike in blood sugar, especially taking it on empty in a very fast absorbing form. My blood tests don't show signs of diabetes though.

Doesn't have to rise to diabetic levels of hyperglycemia. Plenty of people experience mood changes they figure out are resolved by consuming some sugar, and some become hyperactive at higher levels.
Sensitivity to those levels appear to be increased with Modafinil, which you not only feel, but the body responds to more effectively to raise or lower.
On another note, there's a study that demonstrates *low*, sub clinical doses of Modafinil raise blood sugar, while regular to high doses improve blood sugar regulation.
So low doses may be having just enough of an effect on the brain's blood sugar sensing/regulatory mechanism to make it boost blood sugar, and the improvement in regulation only occurs when doses are high enough.
Yes, my usual workday dose is 150 Armodafinil and 200 Moda taken at the same time. Though combining them is not typically prescribed, it's still within the normal 200-400mg Modafinil daily dose in the guidelines. I would not recommend using that much without slowly increasing the dose first to gauge your reaction.
Artvigil 50 is very good. I prefer 3 of those to an Artvigil 150. Tempted to see what a Jano test of each would show. Might be a different formulation, as the 50s have a 3 year expiration date while 150s are 2 years.
I've revised my opinion. Waklert hands down. Modalert and Waklert (from Sun) tabs always looked like they were higher quality (harder, shinier, smaller) than any other brand's tablets. Artvigil was always effective, and a better value, but a recent batch was prone to crumbling and very variable in felt potency. Waklert has never crumbled, and completely consistant over the years.
Interestingly the gene determines if you can smell asparagine (and whatever the metabolite is from Moda apparently), not whether you produce it...so keep in mind for anyone following you after using the bathroom lol.
