Arnold is an insecure elderly man who is obsessed with securing a positive legacy. Eg, the recent "Arnold" documentary.
Some people become increasingly vain in old age and it doesn't look good.
I choose to remember him from Pumping Iron, when he was probably doing horrible things off camera but came off as cool in that movie.

True, I always try and remember the good things. TBH he is the reason why a lot of us are even into this life style or here on this site lol.
But what I also admire about him is he admits to having insecurities. Then again we got those cringy ass memories of him in the back of our head also, and for sure he was no 6’2. 6’0 max.

Claims of his height are a gift that we all just say, "OK, six feet tall, sure"

Louie Simmons: I've been doing Westside since 2012 or so. He said he was going to use steroids until he died. Lived pretty long for someone pushing it so hard for so long.
Arnold was definitely an earlier influence on me for bodybuilding (mainly from Pumping Iron).
Yeah I've read a lot of things about Arnold. He was not a good human being.

yea, I was disappointed when I heard a interview with frank zane saying weirder usto kiss Arnold’s biceps.
I know they butted heads and what not but I kind of believed it.

Louie was rough on the edges for sure, but he was a straight shooter. He didn't pretend he loved you, even if deep down inside he did. You were on the board you meant something, you were not, you didn't matter.
If you 've seen the Westside against the world, check the part that Ed Coan breaks down in tears when he mentions his injury. He bailed guys out of jail with his own money, but he never mentioned it. I have much respect for Louie, I will always have. Even Dave Tate carries part of his legacy of Live, Learn, Pass on. That's what The Brotherhood of Iron means, imho.

That's exactly what I said. My father taught me integrity, honor and sacrifice. I know that in this point in time those things mean dick squat for 99% of the population and even a sign of weakness and being naive, but I stand by those. And I like people that speak their mind and are true to themselves as long as they are not retarded. I like a good argument and I absolutely hate a fucking liar and hypocrite. Arnold is both.

And another sad thing you guys made me remember talking about this. This terd took cigarettes from inmates and refused give back the weight like to even low level inmates, said they would get too jacked and hurt guards and some shit about escaping easier or some shit.
I don’t know about u guys but pound for pound I would much rather fight or chase after a guy that’s only been lifting weights than a guy that’s been doing nothing but burpees push ups pull ups and dips and running track.

No sorry it wasn’t too clear, all in all, in the end he chose to not give weights back at all not even to low level inmates because of danger to guards and if they escape. Which is a joke.

It looks like a children's site or something, with basic, shitty animation and a picture of him biting a dog.

For sure I agree with your point of view, especially a woman’s point of view. Even my son asks me how to dress, I tell him ask his sister or a girl from school I have no idea these days. Us meat heads just think bigger is better. I think frank zane was much more esthetic I’ve heard he even gave Arnold a lot of advice on training and especially cycle design “primo/anavar” that Arnold knew nothing about. Not 100 if it’s true but believable.

I got his encyclopedia of bb years ago. Did absolutely nothing for me lol. Last few dollars Arnold will ever make off me.
