Arnold is an insecure elderly man who is obsessed with securing a positive legacy. Eg, the recent "Arnold" documentary.

Some people become increasingly vain in old age and it doesn't look good.

I choose to remember him from Pumping Iron, when he was probably doing horrible things off camera but came off as cool in that movie.

Ed Coan, Louie Simons and the likes are why I love picking up heavy things and trying to be a no BS person in my life, besides my father.

Arnold was a spoiled narcissist due to his early success. He used to make fun of Lou Feriggno for his hearing aid, his "best friend" Franco for his height. He cheated the Olympia title from Mike Mentzer because he sucked up daddy Weider. Now, in old age, he tries to build a profile of the good hearted, gentle, caring person.

I’ll call bull shit on that. I said he’s the reason most of us are here and it’s true, he made it what it is today. U have ur guys u like that’s fine, power lifers but do a freakin pole who got into working out because of Arnold or ed Conan/ Louie Simon’s? He would burry both of them together. Plus I heard a lot of bad shit about Louie even from guys that worked super closely with him for years, u think he dident have his personality problems?

Mabe he did suck up daddy weirder, u know what they say if u wanna get ahead u gota give a little. People do it all the time in every job I’ve ever worked at. U act like that’s unheard of.

Louie Simmons: I've been doing Westside since 2012 or so. He said he was going to use steroids until he died. Lived pretty long for someone pushing it so hard for so long.

Arnold was definitely an earlier influence on me for bodybuilding (mainly from Pumping Iron).

Yeah I've read a lot of things about Arnold. He was not a good human being.

yea, I was disappointed when I heard a interview with frank zane saying weirder usto kiss Arnold’s biceps.

I know they butted heads and what not but I kind of believed it.

Louie was rough on the edges for sure, but he was a straight shooter. He didn't pretend he loved you, even if deep down inside he did. You were on the board you meant something, you were not, you didn't matter.

If you 've seen the Westside against the world, check the part that Ed Coan breaks down in tears when he mentions his injury. He bailed guys out of jail with his own money, but he never mentioned it. I have much respect for Louie, I will always have. Even Dave Tate carries part of his legacy of Live, Learn, Pass on. That's what The Brotherhood of Iron means, imho.

That's exactly what I said. My father taught me integrity, honor and sacrifice. I know that in this point in time those things mean dick squat for 99% of the population and even a sign of weakness and being naive, but I stand by those. And I like people that speak their mind and are true to themselves as long as they are not retarded. I like a good argument and I absolutely hate a fucking liar and hypocrite. Arnold is both.
