Hair Loss

I'm doing laser therapy to have no hairs anymore, not sure if minoxidil will fuck that up I have already spent a few thousands cuz GH and testosterone doesn't help for sure to speed up the process of no more hairs lol
oral minox will probably fuck a bit your results, but you will notice more hair growth in areas that you dont care much like hands or arms, but with time you will think to also laser or arms and hands XD

I tried minoxidil + finasteride - it works. But!.. Fckn finasteride killed my libido below zero. It was recovered in about 6 months after cancellation of finasteride. Finally I decided to pay 3k for hair transplantation in Istanbul. Now I’m happy, my G

But won't you have to take fin to stop it losing again?

The transplanted hair will no longer fall out. They are taken from the back of the head, and there the hair follicles are resistant to the influence of dihydrotestosterone. everything was thought out, bro

Yes, however, they're mixed with existing hair, which will continue to miniaturize. That loss pattern makes things look so unnatural most men eventually shave it all off.

Perhaps you could try .25mg of fin every day, or every other day. 1mg had a similar effect on me as it did you. .25mg turned out to be easily tolerable, and helped my hairline a lot.

I've always heard a hair transplant surgeon that isn't truthful about the need for ongoing finasteride, at least a microdose, does not have your interests in mind.

I was transplanted with a very high density. And in general, I had almost no hair left in the area where the transplant was done

High density will quickly deplete the donor area and is only suitable when addressing a limited area of loss. How many grafts were used?

In any case, I'm sure you'd agree prevention is preferable to hair replacement, as you end up on finasteride or dutasteride anyway,

sadly not all HT hairs are 100% DHT resistant, the procedure itself can fuck HT hair , and can affect the surronding native hair, meaning some hairs that +/- was still holding on, they will gone... thats why its really advice to be on fin/dut etc for try to keep HT result, because if you start to lose native hair you lose lot of density and the more natural look.

high density for one area is like 3000-3200 grafts thats +/- 12.000 hair follicules. (some people have more hair follicules that others per graft)

in average we can safely take 6000 grafts from donor area, equivalent to 20.000-25.000 hair follicules

Ive been experiencing TONS of hair shedding from using tirz for 7 months. I don't know if its from lack of protein or nutrients but it got to a point where I couldn't even brush my hair or what little I had left would fall out. Ive been using female Rogain and tons of vitamins and I see the hair growth in my roots.
For reference I had hair down to my butt before starting Tirzepeptide.
Wearing extensions until I can grow it back.467756412_9484756118218881_3047022626969489834_n (1).webp

Sorry to hear that, are you taking any other medications or unusual supplements? For example, some anti-depressants can cause hairloss.

How is your daily food intake? Honestly? If you are fasting all day and having a "girl dinner" this could be a major contributory factor especially if you weren't supplementing with other vitamins/minerals until recently. You can see this clearly with Vegans/Vegetarians for example.

I would recommend getting bloodwork to check your thyroid and nutrient deficiencies. Also, ensure you are getting enough protein and fat.

If I were a woman, I would stop the tirz and take oral minoxidil instead of topical minoxidil, but i don't know your BMI history.

Honestly I really wasn't taking any supplements and lacking on the protein heavily when the hair loss started. Im almost positive If i would have stuck to all the things you mentioned while taking tirz I wouldn't be in this shape. I was really lacking.

Ive stopped tirzepeptide weeks ago because im at goal weight and i tell everyone i have on a glp-1 to not get lazy with the eating especially protein.. Ill try the oral minoxidil. Is taking the oral and topical together a little over kill or would it be fine?

both oral and topical is overkill. the advantage of oral is you don't have to get all that crap in your hair and mess around with applying it. oral is superior because its systemic. I get it pretty cheap from an indian pharmaceutical vendor. I take 5mg a day but I'm a lot bigger than you and most people take 1.25mg-2.5mg.

I still recommend testing your thyroid as drastic weightloss could have caused you to have hypothyroidism, also part of thyroid health is iodine which you can look into because you could have been low on iodine due to a restrictive diet.

Hair loss has been reported as a common side effect of tirzepatide clinical studies. semaglutide users can also eperience hair loss.
Hair loss Probably will stop a few weeks after cessation of Tirz, but almost sure with will take several months for you to notice improvement.
any hormonal change can disrupt hair cycles , and its "always" fast to lose hair and slow to gain back,

sudden weight loss can also start telogen effluvium hairloss, that is temporay

About topical minox if you are already using it stay in that protocol for 6months a see form there.
every new treatment add to hair loss could make us shed, not to mention with oral minox the effect is more overall, i mean you probably will notice much more bodyhair face, legs arms etc. Topical minox have more target effect , and despite that y still can notice more facial hair , and even more arms or hands cuz u need to rubb the topical minox .

u can also do bloodwork checkup , to see if your lacking Iron or vit d
