Fake CinnaTropin?

My CinnaTropin just landed from Turkey. I was super excited because I’ve been paying $300+ for Pfizer Genotropin pens domestic and found CinnaTropin pens for a fraction of the price. Well, I opened my package and there is no verification code on the box. One side of the box is written in English and the other side is in… Farsi? So, I googled and found this page on the CinnaGen website. Mine looks identical to the one they say is fake:

Have I been bamboozled?

I could be wrong, but it sounds more like the manufacture is upset that a series of their pens sold at lower cost in certain countries they are not supposed to be exported from "that version" are and ending up in other places. They want the more expensive version to be sold in these places.

Doesn't seem like you're in a position to have it tested by Jano, but you can try a quick & dirty GH test.

It's something like this: inject 10 IU IM then have blood drawn 2-3 hours later for serum GH. Should be around 30.

Would it be different if its UGL 10 IU?

Cinnatropin test worse than any genderic I’ve seen.

Not only is there no reason to fake but if it is, you’re lucky

Doesn't that risk distributors, pharmacies, hospitals, and patients left confused after discovering they have a stock of "fake" meds?

Underground lab produced drugs are not "generics". Generics are made by pharma companies and regulated like the original drug they're replicating. UGL is made to whatever standard the criminals running it feel like using.

Yes. Obviously. I'm only surprised that given the cost the counterfeiters didn't make a perfect replica of the original. I'm sure for less than $10 a perfect replica could be made in China.

Good job taking the time to check.

So who sold you that trash? We need to know to prevent others from being victimized by this fraud.

That’s like saying gay doesn’t mean you’re a homo, regardless if you are.

Gay can mean happy. It can something you call your friends when they’re being r*tarded..

Get it? In our world- generic HGH means Chinese mass produced rhGH.

I fully understand when I used to pickup my generic prescriptions that the patent had ran out, blah blah blah.

Dude yeah you were correct on one important thing but in the end, just chill dude. No one likes a no-it-all. Let alone some that “acckktuakllyyy…” person.

Probably the only Turkish source on this forum?

Agree, the point is we don't have any generic hGH. It's either UGL or pharma.

Most people know when you say generic when referring to hGH, it means UGL.

You my friend have just defined language and commmunication between humans. Congrats.

As long as the message is getting across, it’s valid.

How about if we really pick it apart? Technically generics medications are, like said, 1:1 replicas by other pharmacutical manufacturers

But, there has to be a branded, patented original. I.e- dextroamphetamine, alprazolam. I’m not a pharmacist even close but super curious if the E. coli method of production is an “open source” process?

Almost all pharma manufacturing methods are described in detail openly. They rely on patents protecting them.

It's not like someone can start banging out a medication and your local pharmacy will stock it.

UGL hasn't been much of a threat to profits, until recently.

If only we were so lucky UGL actually followed pharma manufacturing techniques to the letter. I'm certain any shortcut that boosts profit, without impacting sales, regardless of the potential consequences is used.

TP offered to make a batch that used identical eccipient formula to some agreed on brand. Then cracks started to show in the China supply situation. He also stated in the thread the composition of meditropes.

But you’re correct, the way each entity cultivates the E. Coli is generally unique to each entity. If that’s what you mean.

I've been exposed to the wonders of NMR analysis lately, and the myriad defects that can be present in a peptide, but invisible to HPLC-MS.

DIsulfide bond defects and misfolding are both rHGH production issues pharma struggles with, which weaken rHGH binding and therefore effectiveness, and it seems unlikely UGL would put in the time consuming, expensive effort to get it right knowing no one will ever find out. Pharma can't get away with that because FDA requires every batch be NMR tested.

Crap, i was just about to drop some coin on some cinnatropin from a source here. Was it confirmed that this product was indeed fake?

There's a scratch off code you can use to verify authenticity. Once checked online it'll tell you how many times it's been looked at, so you'll know if it's just a code that's been copied.
