315 for 17 reps on 99% of lifts is ultra elite...but over your fucking head is insanity.

August 21– Chongqing china, show for prize money. Hopefully I can get a little bag here between the prize pool and my sponsor.

September 11- never forget. Xian regional - look for ticket to pro Qualifier

September 12 - pro qualifier
- if we do well here we may do one more show to punch ticket to pro qualifier in 2027 then get back to growing. If I need to cover more ground in terms of muscular development we will go straight back into off season and then look for another back to back regional + national in 2027.

The Xian show will be live streamed and they also stream the pro show for free which is the day after the pro qualifier. I know they stream on Chinese tik tok, I’ll have to see where else they live stream a bit closer to the show, but I know for a fact that Huanji (the Chinese IFBB affiliate/promotion) free streams all the shows to try to boost engagement & grow the sport
 
Legs 2: knees felt good, after doing so much high rep work so I went a bit heavier. Wasn’t used to the load on hack squat so I think I probably could do more if I was a bit more neurologically adapted.

I find it interesting that you do 300kgs on the hack, 200 on the leg extension and only 140 on the leg press for 15. Any reason why?

the foot position i select has pretty extreme knee flexion, ans I am not flat footed (on the toes to get great ROM) so I take a very slow tempo for it in order to really limit the loading and not danage my knees ankles. It resembles a sissy squat more than a traditional leg press for my #2 session. On my legs #1 session i do 455kg for less than 10 or 300kg for 15 with a standard set up
 
Bulk is over

In the last 20 weeks i managed to put on 20kg/46 pounds. Here are before and last check in with peak calories.

*note because I was in two different countries around times of end of cut and bulk, and I had to look for the same pose variations check ins were at different gyms. All are fasted, except for red & blue front double biceps

food has been reduced as well, I was still growing too fast on the calories so we tapered them down a bit just so I hold in the mid 260s instead of keep moving up.

Coach decided we should just hold it a bit, make sure health is optimal and then we will not ramp up again but hit the gas full blown as we go into prep.
He thinks we should have a great competition season, so Im really looking forward to getting these next 8 weeks of maintenance and health done and getting down to it.
