I also witnessed a lot of the same people continuing to come to his defense almost instantly.

So who has the power to delete messages? Do sources also have mod powers?

He was creating multiple threads and his crying/ bitching even got him a temp ban from Meso. It is very hard to get banned here, so that should tell you something.

In any event, h was ripped off. If it were me, his incessant and epic winning would have gotten him a delayed delivery. That is what I would have done.

However, the bottom line is that R never received anything.

I have no personal experience with naps so I cant comment on them first hand. I wont order from a non domestic sources as I dont like customs and the longer turn around. Based on the reviews I have read from members that I know however it appears that people are recieving from them in around 10 -14 days. There is a poor review for them that was placed a few hours ago. Here it is.

Me and my friend ordered a considerable amount of items test, deca, winny, sus, clomid, and so forth. We placed it on a rush order ( like 90 dollars for express shipping) . We recieved a third of it in like 6 days which was including aromasin which no one ordered. we sent and email and he sent a second shippment. we only recieved half the order of winny (3 of 6) no sus and no EQ. this is a good point, if someone has something worth a shit to talk about I will honor that. So here it is in a nut shell. the source that was banned was the number 1 rank for a long time(6-8months), he had a large following of members and every 30-40 days was a huge problem with shipping(60day 90day turn around for domestic) and he talked shit to members and I hate that shit with a passion. So I started pulling members into PM and telling them to vote, to leave reviews, to stand up for themselves. getting burned and waiting for long ass T/A sucks ass. So I stuck up for the 10-15 members that he was fucking every so often(which if you knew ANYTHING about eroids you would know I do all the time. his rank started dropping and dude couldnt handle it, we pulled him from the ranks and took away his privilege's to communicate until he caught up and ALL outstanding packs where received. he spammed our site with personal information of members and we gave him the boot. The dude didnt deserve the 750 packs a month he was getting from eroids.....Naps for a couple years on our site was down in like the 3rd or forth page of reviews, no where near the top 50 and they hadnt paid their subscription fee($50) to communicate with members. NO ONE from our site was ordering from them, almost all their reviews where shit. (let me just say this so anyone that is confused will understand, just because a source is all fucked up we dont take them off our site, we are a REVIEW site before anything else. So if you want to make an order somewhere we want you to be able to find that source on eroids and read reviews of other members experience good or bad, so that YOU can make an educated decesion on whether or not to order). So Naps was not a source that we where concerned about as far as banning, yes they had horrible T/A and probably other stuff going on but they werent spamming personal info.

Now the ranking system? it used to be all votes from the beginning of eroids thats what made a source rank. we changed that a few months ago so that its only the last 12months, and its broken down into 3 sections so you can view who is in doing well in the last 12months, 6months, and 3months. we dont want sources to be staying alive from the good reviews from 18months ago if they have went to shit recently, and if you have been in this game at all you know that it could happen over night. Any who when we cut off all votes for naps over 12 months old it gave them a chance to get back in the upper ranks and they ran a promo offering 300 members $300 worth of gear for free, just please leave a honest review. So that is how NAPS is getting themselves back in the ranks, they are also honoring any members with tickets of packs that didnt land from up to 2 years ago. Hope that helps understand some history or why things are the way they are.

theres only been 10 MODS since the site opened, 4 of them are gone and havent signed in for ever, there lives changed for now and steroids arent a part of it. 2 of them became a source, and 4 of them still work currently.....It used to be far worse then it is now, as we where a new site and learning as we go. one of the problems we had was sources making identity's and fakes votes over and over again. but we changed that some time ago by only allowing karma holders votes to count. meaning you got to participate with the site forums in order to get karma and to have a vote that counts. So the biggest problem(shills(myths)fake users, noobs,) all got took out of the equation.... As for the rest? yes they are all on the payroll, all of them, all the other 40 reviews a day, all the 100+ pics posted a day of packs landing come from our big factory where we have every design and size of bottle and we just put oil in them. we spend millions each year on this community of scammers hoping that no-one gives out our secret. Yes us MODs search desperately in every thread on the site monitoring each post so no-one tells on us. all the personal pics that are posted, photo shopped. all the IFBB pros liars. we currently trying to create a computer that is smart enough to make its own reviews and be able to make them ALL sound different. you busted us!....So what was your user name on eroids, im gonna go look at it and see what reviews you left and what forums you participated in. for all I know your a shill hired by MESO

You would not be banned. You would however be warned not to talk about a source in the open forum. If you have a complaint about a source it would go in the supplier intro or the supplier review page. This is done so that the general forum is not convoluted with things other than aas help and info. Hopefully that makes sense.

Also, 1 small source that I know to be beyond reproach had more than 90% negatives reviews. Something doesn't smell right.

After you said this i went back and was very surprised myself to see them in 23rd(or what ever it is) as i remember them always back so far with all bad reviews also. After looking into it i seen that there reviews where of people that i dont know, the one that I did left a bad review. One of the tools that our site has for dettermining fake reviews, when you click on a source it says "who voted", click on that and it tells you who voted, when they voted, and when they where last active on the site. most trolls will make a user name and then disappear, so it will say vote made 7weeks 5days ago last seen 7weeks 5days ago. In any event alinpin wont be at the same rank he is at and a warning will be posted in the day or so.....this is a perfect example of why we made members need 6 karma, alin made these fake acounts over a period of 12months or so, they used to do this in a couple days.

I give credit to Eroids for to trying to quantify the quality of internet sources with a ratings system. It is an ambitious attempt. Thanks to Roid Noid for sharing the ins-and-outs of the model.

Of course, there is good reason why MESO members are suspicious. If moderators (who have power to delete bad reviews, etc) are compensated with free gear from the sources who they are in charge of monitoring, there is the appearance of bias and potential for quid pro quo.

Roid Noid seems like an honest guy but he is compensated by sources - by his own admission he received ~200 vials over two years. So how can moderators address this conflict of interest?

In other words, how can the model be improved?

1. Eroids can have zero-tolerance for moderators who receive any compensation from sources.

DOWNSIDE: The problem is: what moderator is going to spend hours out of their days to do this for free? (And yes, it involves a lot of work.)

2. An alternative is to centralize compensation so that only Eroids owner pays the mods.

But can this work? If the going rate for mod compensation is 100 vials per year - let's value that at $50/vial - that's $5000 per year. For 10 mods, that's $50,000 / year. Then, mods have only the owner to answer to instead of being influenced by numerous sources.

DOWNSIDE #1, that's a lot of $$ paid by Eroids.

DOWNSIDE #2, there's no guarantee that mods would stop taking kickbacks from sources.

3. Eroids could maintain current compensation structure but REQUIRE full disclosure from each mod. Each mods lists ALL sources they've received compensation from and HOW much they've received.

DOWNSIDE: conflict of interest still exists, it's simply disclosed now.

4. Eroids could require full disclosure by mods as described above and have mods recuse themselves from moderating any thread in which they have a conflict of interest.

(If they receive kickbacks from xyz source, they can't moderate discussions/reviews for xyz.)

DOWNSIDE: in absence of quid pro quo, sources have little incentive to donate to moderators.

My point is that no matter how good Roid Noid thinks Eroids is, it is not above criticism. (And neither is MESO-Rx's approach for that matter.)

If internet sources can regularly "game the system" on Google's SECRET algorithm for search engine results pages - and they do - why would it be any surprise that they can game eroids ranking system or ANY OTHER ranking approach offered on bodybuilding/steroid sites?

It's a very difficult problem for eroids or anyone to solve! It seems like eroids is trying. I've added my two cents on how it can be improved.
