STOCK UP: Don't say you weren't warned! (US)

Crazy to think I spent most of my 20’s shooting that year and never had an issue, infection nothing.

The bubble boy sterility mind virus has a hold on some members here... taking a million unnecessary steps and shaming others for doing anything less.

yeah yeah harm reduction whatever

I agree with the warning.

You can go to the underground section here on Meso and ask any Indian vendor how difficult it is to get packages into Europe right now.

Every package is inspected. Last time I checked one of the more popular vendors just stopped trying altogether and the other one had a no-reship policy for Europe.

I can see the same happen in other countries. It's going to be a lot more difficult and right now is the chance to stock up. Why take the chance and wait?

It likely won't completely dry up but you don't want to wait until you're begging vendors to please take your money for a single vial of testosterone. Especially the people on TRT.
A LOT of the Indian vendors are getting fucked by US customs. Seems like the US is much more concerned about Indian parcels vs Chinese
Maybe its just the volume......guessing inbound Chinese package volume dwarfs India.

Good looking out @Ghoul. Better to be cautious then clueless.
i think youre right, just about every angle or political persuasion someone might have supports this.

for example,

1. you've got the fent/drug angle from conservatives

2. youve probably even got pressure from pharma companies regarding semaglutide/other super marked up pharma, that people are getting wise to and ordering from india and elsewhere. this also relates to insurance

3. businesses, trade, etc, no one likes drop shipping

4. government taxes.

even if you dont believe any of these "acute" reasons, or merely decade or less long reasons, i think we can all agree that the larger picture is control, and controlling what their citizens have and what is in the country is part of that. Look at the TSA thats was supposed to only be a temporary solution.

There really isnt an argument someone could make for why U.S packages shouldnt be inspected more thoroughly , so i dont see how there would be any pushback against what ghoul is saying , t

the only thing that has been stopping this from happening earlier is no one cared as much thus there wasnt money in it, i.e couldn't convince the government to pass some bills and spend our meaningless dollars.

if there have been private orgs lobbying for this for years, and large amounts of meaningless money exchanged, kickbacks and bonuses and friends of friends, thats all that it takes, there isnt some larger debate on behalf of the peoples freedom

we dont want this, we have had such a golden age of steroids because we havent had to deal with vendors openly dealing with narcotics. all that would do is raise prices and decrease quality, not to mention attract negative attention/reputation towards steroids and steroid users.
all that fake gear from the 80s and 90s was because of mexico. period.

we will always be able to get things by but itll just cost more,
Really hit it on the head. To add, this kind of legislation is even more geared toward legit busi nesses. For example, jewelers pay less tax if they claim less value on imports. The same for many other businesses. The legit businesses cheat the government more than anyone... let's be real. This is low-hanging fruit for legislators to say they got something done. In the end, the opposition to this is Amazon, Fed Ex, etc. Nobody is going to F with them.
This will NEVER happen. From a person that has actually done investigations, we just don’t have the methodology, resources, or funding for such an endeavor.

Right now we “scan” (Border Patrol verbiage”) less than 4% of containers. Note the word “search” is not used. I believe the percentage of searched containers is .01%.
I've also heard it's lower, around 3% "scan." Yeah, either is a minute amount.

Contractors are just going to give the gov the illusion of tightening down imports just to milk the endless cash cow. AI isn't going to do smack to what they claim, not in this generation. AI... is that Artificial Intelligence or Advanced Intelligence? I keep seeing the abbreviation, but search their definition with tech companies and its the latter. Another tech hype to pull in investment dollars.

Absolutely true. I order just blood pressure medicine, antiestrogens, rogaine and a few other things because they were very cheap. Over 10 years it was shipped from India. Now it comes from other countries! But I heard or read somewhere the India was shipping a lot of fentanyl/ precursors and customs really clamped down on them. I'm not sure if it's as true or not.

I think they are looking more at stuff coming from India where I am, too.
A lot of opioids and stuff like tramadol have been seized.
They just busted a guy that was importing stuff like that and reselling it.
He was getting it all shipped to his parents' house. Lol
Mum must have been thrilled when LE banged on her door in the middle of the night.

Probably just higher likelihood of India having sketchy things since there's just so much stuff from China. I don't know what else india is really known for exporting, I'm pretty sure pharma and chems are a large %

Sooner or later it will come.
Image recognition developed so rapidly the last couple years. Less and less computing power you need to analyze complex images. It means initial investments are getting lower and lower to connect it to xray and bam, you have very good way to automate the task. there are rumours some are operating in my country. You can never be sure about these infos, not even if the authorities say about their investigative tactics because they might bluff.

Also AIs can give better predictions on what packages are likely foul packs just by destination, name, address etc used. They already have oldschool algorithms for these but they are not so good.

AI data analyses + AI image recognition = LE will have less and less disadvantage over smugglers. Higher risk = higher prices.

Not looking good =/

I am one of those to call op fear mongering. But he actually brings up valid claims in this thread. If they open up all packages it will for sure hinder the aas market. Putting the raws in oatmeal packages ? Come on , who orders oatmeal from China lol. Stealth shipping won't save y'all.

Though speaking of gear prices, I'm surprised they haven't increased already? With all this inflation we are having throughout all these years , that alone should have caused it to increase lol. But with this news and stricter customs with packages will lead to more seizures and controlled deliveries =more busts.
And gear being out of stock for longer.
I know Australia has the problem hence why drugs are so expensive there.

They still have AI now for the war on drugs and it ain't doing much
Ummmmmm. The 'war on drugs' doesn't get focused into a few large government facilities being sorted by Artificial Intelligence. Duh.

How the can you even compare the two?? Don't you understand what a usps sorting facility does????

What do you thinks gonna happen when a package gets flagged and seized by ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE? It ain't gonna be a confiscation letter like the good old days that's for sure. You really want to gamble with this, or just stock up just in case??

Even if folks DO stock up for years and years. Do they have enough pins and syringes stashed away to last however long until the gear runs out?? Doubt it.

Not the bubble boy sterility fear mongers.

There are informal studies (surveys) showing people using the same needle up to 21 times. And that's just what they admit to. Not sure if lazy, cheap, or what.

I'm sure HRT and gear users will adapt, at least to the reusing needle aspect of this.

I love discussions and all but what we’re doing here is just making assumptions lol. Let them close everything who cares, maybe even good for the community.

This will even help people actually place more effort to nutrition and training rather than check what new peptides are available on group buys and sales by the Chinese vendors.

Pure laziness for me. I'll throw 4 days worth of HGH in a single slin pin and reuse my 27g syringe maybe 4 times before it's too dull, lol. I always wipe the tip with alcohol swap after use then before next use and store the pins in the fridge. Subq is easier to get away with this I don't do this with IM.

Then again my homebrew methods get a lot of flak here lol. Never had any issues in 25+ years of doing this stuff

And I thought I am lazy using 30ml vials because I hate filling up and keep changing 10mp bottles lol!

I lived off a liter of homebrew test cyp 300mg in a gl45 1000ml media bottle with a butyl septum cap for a solid 7 year stint.... Changed out the cap about 5 years into it. Just unscrewed it and screwed on a new one after I rinsed it in rubbing alcohol

The only 2 infections I've had from gear in my life were both from other UGL

I'm wondering how any of you believe "AI" is going to identify gear and be able to make a distinction between that and perfectly legal packages?

It doesn't need to. It just needs to pass through legit stuff. If the ai image recog can pass through 90% of the clean packages, now you can concentrate human inspection efforts on the remaining, challenging, 10%

Image recognition of what? The chemical composition of a bag full of powder or a container with the density of MCT oil? What characteristics are going to distinguish a "clean" package from an "illegal" package sufficient to be able to train an ML model to successfully identify either?

Come on use your imagination, plastic tat, clothes, shoes, tools, electronics, all this shit will fly through. Anything remotely like powder or liquids or tabs can be then inspected by a human.
