You'd need to understand how your SHBG has changed over time. All else being equal (which it ain't), SHBG will set your Total T for a given weekly dose. Hence if your "multiplier" has changed over time, that's one place to look.
A simple experiment to demonstrate is run constant dose of Test...
Very cool data points. A lot of variation with humans.
**Next time take 12.5 to 25 mg of oxandrolone or stanozolol for two weeks prior to blood draw. SHBG and hence TT will be crushed. Your Doc can also pin your shitty lipids on your "low T".
**entertainment purposes only.
Oxandrolone wont raise your TT level. It will actually drop your TT level by lowering SHBG. It will drop your SHBG at that dosage within a week so if your Doc is in the know he may tell something is up just by your SHBG result.
Oxandrolone trashes hdl-c / lipid particle counts (good proxy is...
I've done 25 or 50 mg oxandrolone applied buccally in troche form. Preferable to sublingual as you avoid swallowing more and instead absorb through gum line. If you have tabs a little more difficult as they aren't designed to dissolve rapidly. That's what nice about a mix of PEG molecular...
1. Oxandrolone drops SHBG.
2. Lower SHBG ----> Lower TT
3. FT stays the same (same Test dosage on TRT)
4. Equilibrium constant unchanged
5. Lower TT / same FT ----> % FT = FT/TT goes up
Hence, oxandrolone increases percentage FT not FT itself...
I'd bet no based on my relevant data. Serum Free Test is invariant to changes in SHBG while under the constraint of constant exogenous testosterone. The body takes test ester and absorbs free test. The body eliminates free test. SHBG and Total Test are outputs not inputs.
Unfortunately due...
I've got an experiment in process using oxandrolone and equilibrium dialysis measurement. My prior experiments used calculated FT.

I wonder if the authors tracked SHBG? Hence, did TT drop simply because of reduced liver production of SHBG or did Halo markedly reduce production of FT from the testes? Or both?
For instance running oxandrolone solo at modest doses would significantly lower SHBG and modestly reduce FT...
For science. Firming up and validating the hypothesis that lowering SHBG will not increase absolute FT under constant exogenous Testosterone. Oxandrolone or stanozolol are ideal agents to use for this work.
I reported on my previous experiments but did not use equilibrium dialysis to measure...
Funny you mention I am doing a follow up experiment to answer this one more time. Last time I did it I only estimated FT with Vermeulen and FT was invariant to SHBG drop (via oxandrolone) under the constraints of constant exogenous Test dosing.
This time I am measuring TT (LCMS) and FT...
Imagine experiment where SHBG magically drops in half or just drops over the course of some time period (oxandrolone for example).
All other constraints above stay in place. Let's just make it as simple as possible by assuming TRT (aka free Test) is being introduced to the body at a constant...
Define toxic. I just ran 50 mg/day (6 weeks) oxandrolone on top of current cruise 200 mg/week test cyp.
Liver enzymes elevated (understandable). No sign of acute kidney issues. Creatinine and BUN fine (in context with weight training and diet) and based on my relevant experience if I pull...
Yes. You don't want to lower your SHBG purposefully. It will lower with exogenous androgen use anyway. Mine has dropped in half after 6 years on TRT.
If you want to do a fun experiment drop your SHBG to low single digits using 50 mg/day of oxandrolone for few weeks. Repeat your TT / FT...
Haha.
Just recently had a bunch of bloodwork pulled after my latest experiment (200 mg/week TC base plus 50 mg/day oxandrolone for 4 weeks). Had the LCMS E2 test done and was expecting it to come back around 30 pg/ml. I usually aromatize not too bad. SHBG came back at 6. E2 came back at 100...

I am thinking maybe continuing the dose response thread over here. This would be a great place to crowdsource data.

I will post up the requirements for sharing user data. A chart with FT vs dose...
Preface: My links above were originally written for the ~100 to 300 mg/week Test ester (exogenous) crowd ("TRT"/TOT/legal androgen user/abuser) who decide to throw in a little oxandrolone or stanozolol to "free up some more T" after hearing about this approach on the internet or their provider...
