10ml or 20ml or 30ml vials

Yes, blunt 1,2x40mm, i tried because I was worried if vial will stay sterile sealed after many perforations.
Makes sense, it did destroy the stopper a bit tho, but it looks it sealed back. You said you punctured it 20times? That's a lot for a 10ml vial..I usually puncture it 10 times. So not bad

Yes 20 times is not normal for 10ml vial but I do it to be sure and can recommend it to anyone. This stoper was perforated before with normal needle about 10times.
After 2 hours from injection I can tell that it probably work. I don't feel absolutely nothing. Normally I feel from little discomfort to bad pip with this gear.

when using blunt needle? or any needle? i pin test p im everyday using insulin syringe.
When using a normal needle, my average draw is 1ml each time. So on average a 10ml vial get punctured 10 times.

It would be the same with a blunt needle.

and this only applies to filtering out larger particulants such as coring from shitty stoppers, correct?

Correct. Although, 5um can filter out a small percentage of large sized bacteria and the glass delamination shards that shed inside the vial.

i'm a 22 um filter user for all my ugl oils i have at present, after these are gone i will be home brewing all oils moving forward , i haven't started filtering my hgh/peptides "yet" , i haven't had any problems that many folks have had using peptides or hgh , but the extra precautions can't hurt,,, i do appreciate your research diligence Ghoul , very thorough and informative,,,,

Any stopper will have coring problem, shitty stopper will have more, I have the top of the line of pharmaceutical stopper for my home brew vials and even those can leave particles
Blunt needles with 5um filters are only for European. We don't have access to beveled filtered needles here. In USA you can find those

What filter do we use to filter peptides? How much would we lose when filtering peps?

13mm .2um PES syringe filter.

Peptides easily pass through a .2um filter, and you'll lose less than .03ml of liquid after air purging the filter.
Thanks brother! Im going to order some and I guess vials too. Off to spend more money! Have you noticed any difference filtering HGH?

I don't use HGH at the moment, using Tesa instead, and a bunch of other peptides. I've noticed a HUGE difference in the peptides that cause PIP. Filtration reduced pain and redness to nothing.

For peptides you use regularly, reducing site reactions like PIP is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of filtration benefits. What you're trying to avoid is, in laymen's terms, is injecting impurities, especially aggregates (large clumps of peptide) that can induce a progressive loss of effectiveness to the drug, caused by your immune system becoming "trained" in how to remove it from your system.

Was just reading an article about how certain very large HGH aggregates may be "disassembled" by the immune system, and some of the resulting fragments can induce immunity to natural growth hormone. These effects can take many months, or years to develop, but obviously if they can be completely avoided by filtration that's cheap insurance.

Im going to start doing this with my HGH and see if it helps with sides. It definitely should! Thanks my brother!

It may.

Of course no study intentionally injecting humans with high impurity HGH would ever be authorized, but we know aggregates induce a stronger immune response.

We know that certain conditions encourage and speed up the formation of aggregates.(think "crystallization" in terms of how aggregates start with a tiny "seed" and grow from there).

There was a study comparing numerous forms of somatropin. From single use vials, to multi use vials, to pre-reconstituted pens.

For what it's worth, in the FDA database that tracks reports of side effects, the single use vials that are used immediately after reconstitution had the fewest sides reported. The pens had the highest, To me, that suggests aggregates play a role, since they form after reconstitution, and immediate single use vials spend the least time in reconstituted form, developing the fewest, smallest aggregates.

From my own experience with Tesa, perhaps one of the most aggregate prone peptides out there, even from pharma, after filtering, the first dose is PIP free, but by the 5th and final dose, the PIP, lumps, and redness has returned almost to the pre filtration level. So in that case, I keep the entire 3ml in a syringe with filter attached, and backfill an insulin syringe for each dose. This "per dose" filtration (a technique practiced in Europe called 'bedside filtration') has eliminated PIP for every dose.

Someone bought out all the vial spikes 4550579, and now only pre-orders are available. With shipping and taxes, 30 pieces come out to $120, or $4 each. There are cheaper ones with a green cap, but as I understand it, they don’t have a filter.

I’ve never used them, but if they provide more safety and make drawing oil easier, then it might be worth placing an order.
