yeah dont try to explain things to 'em (im assuming u mean me)
those damn "kids" and their damn higher education. damn them for actually thinking researching....they should just watch fox news and nothing else....EVER

that last post really gives my closure that you are beyond all hope of every being open minded. oh well

Actually, I was not talking about you. IMO, you seem like you are educated and are plenty capable of forming a substantive argument. I applaud you for that.

I was speaking in very general terms. And it has nothing to do with openmindedness....I see things from a different light in that I am an employer (not an employee). I also deal with international firms, products, and workers....so I have a different take on what I think some of our current problems are based on the employees that I have and their viewpoints.

bush had a 2.0 yale gpa and kerry had a 2.4. not that it matters that much to me.
another thing. bush got rejected by texas law school. he then "magically" got into harvard. no strings pulled?

Sorry I should have explained, I was talking about classes they both took.

There is a big dif in class loads. An engineer has a much tougher class load than a PhyEd major.

How come "open minded" always means "doing what the other person says is right and abandoning your own values/beliefs"? What happens if I any opinion I hold has been thoroughly thought out and argued with myself? Am I not open minded when I tell you you're wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong? Hey, I've gone through all the arguments and my conclusions are that which I feel to have the best arguments in favor of.

What I have noticed that concerns me greatly is that I truly dont believe a lot of you understand what it means to be a democrat or even a republican for that matter, and what each of the two very different parties strive for and fight for , a lot of you dont make any sense and have no understanding what-so-ever and its really a shame because you all should have learned this in grade school , yet a lot of you have it all backwards. It would be comical if it didnt have to do with the future of our country. I would say 80% of this boards memebers have no grasp on what their party really fights for and I believe if they did they might possibley switch parties. IT IS TRULY SAD!

Please enlighten us oh great one.....

Both parties fight for control. Control of what? YOUR life! They fight so that they can get favors, money, power. All the things that make life so good. And while they're all fucking you in the ass, you've got John Kerry telling you he's "fighting for you; the little guy". Bwahahahahahahaha!

Its obvious Bush has a low IQ, just listen to him talk for Gods sake! Further more, Bush would have never made a name for himself in politics had it not been for his dad... GW is an idiot. What qualifications did he have going into the Presidency? A lot less then Kerry has now!!!
The War in Iraq is his best selling point?
He(GW) is better for our countries defense?

Iraq had nothing to do with 911!!
This country couldn't defend its self on 911 when Bush was in office...
I'll be glad when the election is over...

LOL....you are truly clueless. This article was just posted on Fox about an hour ago...perfect timing:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,136644,00.html

...and lets not forget that Bush was in office for 9 months when 9/11 occurred. Clinton had been in office for 8 years and did NOTHING to stop terrorist activity. Hell, in 1993 when Clinton pulled out of Somalia after "black hawk down", Bin Laden relesed a statement in which he called Clinton and his administration "Paper Tigers" and bragged how the US would "run away dragging their dead soldiers behind them".

Also, the 9/11 Commission concluded that the 9/11 terrorists had been training for 9/11 since 1995-1996....UNDER CLINTON'S WATCH!!!

I'm sorry please tell me what Bush has done to catch Bin ladan? If I robbed a bank and ran to afganastan I'd be cought within the month. BL is the most wanted man on the planet and his nowhere to be found. 200 billion and counting. Bush has just asked for another 70 billion toward the Iraq mess not toward Bin ladan! One more thing how can you mis place 380 tons of anything?
nothing you can do about trainning. They have been trainning under every president since Eisenhower.

This thing is much bigger than Bin Laden brother....much bigger. If bin laden is killed, it changes nothing on a global scale.

And if you robbed a bank and ran to Afghanistan, you would most likely be captured by an Islamic tribe and beheaded for being an "infidel".

As far as money goes, yeah it is costing a lot....and also in lives of American troops. But, it has to be done man. If Clinton would have stepped up to the plate and went to bat when he had the chance, we would not be in this mess today.

And as far as the weapons go.....you obviously haven't seen the lates report in which they are now saying that those weapons were missing BEFORE the US troops ever got there. Kerry jumped the gun on that one big time. His foreign policy adviser said this morning "yeah, but we didn't have enough troops to get there in time to secure those weapons".

Also, 380 tons is 760,000 pounds. This equates to approximatley 20 semi trucks worth of material/equipment. When we were looking at going into Iraq, Colin Powell went to the UN and showed them satellite surveillance footage of a couple dozen semis crossing into Syria...wander what was on those trucks???

The Duelffer report that was just released also concluded that a tremendous amount of material/weapons was passed into Syria before we invaded. Could this be it???

Don't keep un current events..huh.

If you ever have been to Afghanistan you would know how illogical your statement was.

Don't put down the efforts of our military...they deserve better.
