2017 Year Long Log

So as a way to fill my restless nights, I bought a PlayStation 4. Beaten just about every game that I've played. A few have been Horizon Zero dawn, the new hitman, mortal kombat XL, the new call of duty in space, resident evil 7, the division, ghost recon, rainbow six, watch dogs 2, and I'm on my 2nd play through of Until Dawn trying to get all these bastards to stay alive. Majority of the games I've played were ok, but their replay value is horrible.

Anyone have any good games out there??

I've played Witcher 3 and shadow of Mordor last year. Loved them.
I don't sleep much at night so I'm just trying to find a good time killer.

Pretty awesome actually. First half was like a silent hill game, then the last half picked up and reminded me a lot of RE4

Watch dogs 2 was a major improvement from the first. A bit too hipster, but I still had fun. I loved the first tomb raider and the uncharted games. Might have to check out the new one.
I've only played just cause 1 and 2. Couldn't take the horrid acting of the 2nd one.... are you still playing as Skorpio?

Hitman was awesome! It's in par withBlood Money. Very fun, but short.

I used to be a pretty big gamer when I was younger. Like @insaiyan93 I'm still rocking last gen and earlier consoles because poverty. Does the PS4 still play PS1 and PS2 games? Could definitely recommend some good ones from that era.

Id love to have one of the new systems but thats an addiction I cant handle. I'll just stick to reading books and working out as my vices right now.

Yeah, same except I've been neglecting my reading hobby for over a year. I'm waiting on a book to come out and that'll probably kick it back off. Then I'll be spending all my free time reading for a few months. I'd do the same with gaming if I had something I liked. It's like I only have two settings for anything. Not at all or eleven.

No I don't think it plays the discs, but they let you download certain ones onto your hard drive from the PSNetwork.
I used to play this game on my PlayStation 1 where you played as this guy who piloted a big ass mech suit. Floated around in space and destroyed space stations and enemy ships. Super badass.
PS2 I can barely remember..... the old pierce brosnan James Bond games were always good.
That's all I can remember playing.

I was huge into Elder Scrolls Oblivion for the 360, and then huge into the Witcher 3. Hated Skyrim.
If I play a game I like having a good storyline that keeps me entertained. If it doesn't have a storyline, then I like ultra violent and ridiculous, like bullet storm or Quake/Unreal Tournament

Lost Odyssey for Xbox 360 had one of the best stories I've seen in a game. They hired a Japanese author I believe to help with the writing. Plus it has my favorite voice actress Tara Strong in it.

I don't like that they call those kinds of games RPGs. They're obviously FPS games.

This is an RPG, probably the greatest one of all time.

Ehhhhh I think because they are fantasy and have character progression/specialty tiers to improve they give you the illusion of actually playing the role of that character.

Turn based Pokémon-like combat games would make great RPG's if RPG stood for really poopy games
