Pecker, owner and operator of Joe Weider's Mr. Olympia Fitness and Performance Expo and the Mr. Olympia Contest, today announced that he is revoking the eligibility of 2018 Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden from competing in the 2019 and future Mr. Olympia competitions. The announcement follows the recent charges that led to a warrant issued in Utah for Mr. Rhoden stemming from an alleged incident in October 2018.
In addition to revoking Mr. Rhoden's eligibility from future Mr. Olympia competitions, American Media also announced that it would suspend coverage of Mr. Rhoden in its media brands, including Muscle & Fitnessand FLEX, until the legal process has been completed

Not necessarily, forced sodomy is a thing. You can also have a situation where it starts out consensual, one party decides to stop and the other person refuses, that then becomes rape. Or you have the other end of the spectrum where it's consensual and then one party for whatever reason cries rape after the fact.

I'm trying to find a copy of the charging document to see what evidence was laid out other than she claimed rape and DNA was found.

Believing a credible persons version of events isn't necessarily a failure of innocent until proven guilty, it's no different than any other crime in this regard, if you don't believe the person, then you aren't going to investigate the crime. In order to investigate something, an investigator has to believe what the person is saying to an extent.

I also don't believe societies response to people who get accused of sexual assault is a strictly modern phenomenon. As far as I remember, if there was word someone you knew was a skunk or did grease-ball shit, you still looked down on that person with derision and didn't associate with them. Stands to reason if most people feel that way, someone who actually gets charged with a crime is going to get the same treatment.

This is not a unique phenomenon. I also think, as with any other crime, it is essential to believe a credible witness in order to even have something to investigate. As I mentioned, if you don't believe someone, then you probably aren't going to investigate.
