For a relatively small usa domestic source looking to expand, you seemed very knowledgeable from the beginning, this doesn't seems like your first go around, the mannerism and the way you conduct yourself, seems like it's tailor made to deal with the crowd in meso. So far you have checked out and have done things the right way. But if you are one the larger sources that was here on meso, and screwed a lot of people before you left. I don't think it will stop you from doing it again, once you have reached that point of too many people ordering, and too many complaints, you might try to bounce out, and screw a few people on your way out.
I understand your sentiment, and I understand the history of UGL sources on Meso. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do or say that will erase this doubt and unease from everyone. It is the nature of a black market business to be skeptical with all the rampage scamming.
I will honestly say that I have no sourcing experience except my few short months starting on the Reddit forum. However, before coming to Meso, I tried to do my best to analyze and understand the culture here and what people want/do not want from sources. I make no objections that I am tailoring my marketing/behavior to Meso's community. For instance, I try to be as professional as possible because I am running a business. But, in real life, I may not necessarily be the same way. I am tailoring to the needs and wants of the community because I believe that is how businesses should be run. The customer is always king.
I will try to outline some examples of policies I have put in place that signify that I am not here to exit scam:
1. Bitcoin, this is very relevant to our current discussions, but as I have mentioned in the past, I will only do refunds through Bitcoin. This is the only safe way I feel in sending money to customers. I have done Bitcoin refunds in the past, but mostly with the Reddit crowd as Bitcoin has not gained traction here yet.
2. Sales halts- I halt sales when I need to do extensive QA testing, and I give warnings when I will be too busy to operate (i.e. business trips, etc)
3. Re-opening gaining trust practices- when I re-opened I listened to the communities' feedback, for example I lowered the MG min to $100. Furthermore, I limited payment transactions to 5/day.
4. Working to make it right with customers- I have tried my best to make it right for the customers, sometimes even when it is not my fault. I have a budget in place that accounts for customer satisfactions, this includes refunds, reships, extra product, overnight shipping etc.
These are just several examples. That being said, I just wanted to let the community know I have a few orders that are pending shipment right now. We are working on a safer form of shipping orders so right now there are just a few people who have pending shipments from their payment on Wed/Thur (usually we have shipments out the same day). This is just a heads up for those who are awaiting shipment updates!
