9/11 and australians

Sorry about being late but i waited to see who else would say something.
It was 430am i was in the gym training legs in a special leg only room. Tv kept playing this same dozen short clips from a movie. Couldnt hear a thing they had gym music playing.
When i left the room i went to recption and told them the dvd player was playing up. It was playing the same shorts of that movie.
That is when i was told it wasnt a movie. It really happened.
I went back to the tv and my heart sank. I didnt seem real. Still doesnt.
So to anyone who was affected by that day especially if you lost someone. Australians feel your pain and send hugs and our hopes you can come to terms with it. I wish i could have stopped it so grandkids could have their grand parents back. Husbands their wives. Sisters their brothers. And so on.
Australia recognises your pain and send you our love and sympathy.

It's like humans can't ever stop fighting. 2020's don't seem bright either, we got corona for couple years and now war.

Sure sometimes it looks bad in our lives. But it is horrific to imagine my wife or kids lost in such a way.

Obviously im australian. But this supprises me. I thought 9/11 made everyone come together. But this virus and how our government has delt with it has turned us into a nation of individuals all fighting nothing. So i guess that is what happened there too. Shame that all these people die for no real purpose.

Unfortunately, you are right, the US government is now acting everywhere from a position of strength and believes that it has the right to dictate its own rules of the game around the world.

I am also for peace and for the fact that usually people do not die. But so far the trend is not good. I hope they find a way out of the current crisis.
