A Southern Yankee's Winter Blast

Well I look at it like this.

The golden era guys took in 1 g per bw. Well at least arnold did. I cant speak for the others. Assuming their telling the truth thats all you need based on...well their physiques.

Now the current day guys are on a different level with gh and slin. Bringing up the total usable protein. Therefore increasing protein to drastically 2x would make sense.

I just dont know how to explain my side any better. Im recovering after every workout with no soreness. Muscular hypertrophy is occurring and im recomping nicely. I dont see the need to use 550+ grams protein.

you didn't watch the video did you. I never read where Arnold only took in 1g protein per pound. I did see Arnold lame ass advertisement for his protein powder stating 1g protein per pound. you eat what you want to eat, but don't tell me your getting the same results as if you was eating 2g protein per pound of body weight, cause that isn't the truth. you do what ever you want I don't care, but if you or anyone makes an off the wall statement I'll check you on it. I expect the same if I make crazy statements. the problem is I don't make crazy statements. ;)

I started my first cycle and did 1.2 or about 315 grams daily and seen fantastic gains even tho I had awful ugl test.

I upped it to 1.8 on current cycle simply because I need it. Im hungry and dont wanna eat alot of carbs.

Now when I cruise off cycle I go back to 1g. Without the super physiological doses of test. It seems like anything more is honestly just waste.

Your right. Idk how I ever got to 265. Must of been blind luck? I didnt need aas to get here. Who knows maybe im a pure design of genetics. Maybe all the knowledge in the world wont help me. Perhaps I should listen to a sub 200 pounder to learn how to gain muscle and or weight. Who knows right. Maybe there's some thing im missing. But when I surpass 280 then 300. I will still have somebody telling me im doing it wrong. When all I do is grow off of low dose test and deca. Its one of those things. Who knows maybe im a super efficient alien from o utter space devoid of anything useful and incapable of understanding anything

Surprisingly the oatmeal gives it the right texture to. Get my shakes real cold and it's like a Dairy Queen ice cream Shake.

I've been putting my in the freezer for about 60-90mins, then take it with me in cooler to go train. When I'm done its just right the mix of icy milk, choco mint power, & pb.:D

you won't get to 280lbs or 300lbs and look impressive. knowledge has nothing to do with height and weight. genetics have gotten you this far. you are getting older and you can't keep living on your young genetics.

Now you see Huck. Those quotes weren't a shot at you. I do realize nothing will change your mind. But this IS bro science! It certainly makes one wonder. How important is extreme protein intake? Its possible some are more efficient than others. Which is pretty much true down the spectrum of traits found in humans.

Since nothing is concrete I go to the higher end of the spectrum but I wouldn't call what I use extreme. I am recovering and building. So thats whats important. Much like anything bodybuilding nothing is concrete. Havent you figured that yet? I still like you man

Milos Sarcev was a top BB and you ignore his info of 2g protein per pound of body weight. I like you too and I'm not trying to be a dick it just comes natural and the way it comes across over the internet. I wish you the best success and I hope you get to 280 or 300 lbs eating that much protein. I just don't think it is going to happen.

I was consuming higher amount of protein and hire calorie intake so you can pack on more bf with excess protein simply because they come with more calories.

Yup, this is absolutely true.

Protein itself will not convert or stored as fat but if you are in a caloric surplus it will just cause whatever dietary fats you eat to get stored as fat, so while it is true that protein won't turn to fat it is erroneous to assume a caloric surplus regardless of macro breakdown will not lead to fat gain either.

Carbs do not get stored as fat either.
