Acne out of control

Hot steam sauna helps clearing out oils and impurities from skin. Make sure to drink enough water and do not stay in the steam room alone.

shower for once. this clears up my body. I take 3 showers a day. Morning, post workout, post sex. no oily skin equals no pimples.

My left arm is dripping oil constantly from acne. I scratched the shit out of some poison oak and I don't know if I caved in my pores or what and it's just like welling up into these big knots and then forming an oily scab for a couple weeks now. I'm glad I shot the rest of my shit yesterday. I took a double dose of AI today. That's what I get for skipping my AI dose completely for 2 days and then cutting the dose in half a few weeks ago.

You should understand how accutane works for most people. First of all, it doesn't instantly work. From what I've read minimal results start occurring after MONTH 2. Also, when starting or increasing your dose, majority of people will get an initial breakout or worsening of acne. The fact that you blasted your accutane dose that high you're probably just going to breakout more.

My acne on my left forearm is the worst I've ever seen anywhere. I'm still taking 12.5mg aromasin a day 8 days now after my last shot. I'd post a pic but I don't want to make anyone throw up.

Drop dosage to cruise dose for two weeks and resume blast works for me with test but I am also not gay so..

I understand that accutane is much more serious than benzoyl peroxide but benzoyl peroxide doesn't do shit. Idk what other choice I have I've been struggling with this shit since 8th fucking grade and I still can't take my shirt off with any confidence so accutane sounds like it's worth the risk

I just stated reading this thread as I'm conning out of my dermatologists office for back and shoulders acne. We discussed both benzoyl peroxide and accutane. I've been on test cyp almost +/- 2 years now..last time I have acne was high school, that was over 25 years ago. Needless to say, It's at its worst ever...that sunlight example is a myth..I work outdoors in direct sun and it don't do shot. Showering 2x a day and changing shirts 3x a day, especially when training has helped a lot, but not enough to rid the acne and nothing for scars.

Anyway, doc prescribed the benzo, but did infor that it will be many months i.e. 6--8 months before it's really starts to noticeable be gone. As to accutane, he said it is a last resort drug and that too need to be run for a long period of time and the active live results are much, much longer benefits. However that it is certainly a harsher drug. However he said the sides are much exaggerate. I don't know how much of this part is true as I want gonna debate with him. He knows I'm in TRT but obviously I didn't mention other compounds.

Nevertheless, my point to OP is that you seem to be rushing things and expect over night results. Not trying to diss you, just asking you to consider slowing down and taking good advise from your brothers here. Certainly some will should harsh in their replays but that's cause they have been there and made mistakes or see too many not heed good advise. Just like older brothers try to tell their younger siblings to "slow down".
What's is the rush anyway?
Good luck bro.

Just making a correction as I'm reading this back to myself, per the doctor, the benzo is intended for the scars when he said are really not scars but pigmentation discoloration may/should improve with time.

With that said, he prescribed me some Doxycycline, do my 2nd paragraph above, I meant to refere to Doxycycline in comparison to Accutane. Just to clarify any potential confusion.

I'm researching more on this Doxycycline, I'm not familiar with it, so if anyone has any experience or opinion please let me know.

I hope what I had to offer was of any help.

Peace y'all.

I've never used Doxycycline so I can speak on that but I'm pretty much at week 8 of ugl accutane (40mg daily) and I am not getting any new larger red bumps at all and any other type of acne has slowed down to a crawl.

Dry as a mother fucker though.

My doc didn't have anything specifically negative to say about accutane, except that it should not exactly be immedualty discontinued once the acne appears to subside...that it should be run for an extended period of time, and dosed down progressively. Something along those lines.

I asked him about how it affects Lipids and vital organs and without hesitation he said that's not true.

I don't know what to believe to be honest cause half the time I think doctors have there heads up there asses but I'm no medical student to say the least..

I hear you, I'm far from anything medical except acquiring medical bills.

I plan on running it for at minimum 4 months at this dose, which by all accounts is low from what I've read. I've been told 8 weeks is when it really starts to work and I'd have to agree. It's been working, but very recently a real corner seems to have been turned for the better.

I'm drinking water like its my job. I have chapstick at all times or my lips crack and I have to put neosporin inside my nose at night or it cracks in there, too. Lol, life choices man.

In terms of numbers and how it's going inside of me, I just had a full check up with extensive bloods at my primary and all is well. Hospital visit in there as well with plenty of blood work, no flags.

See that's good to hear...cause I hear horror stories from the guys at the gym and here on Meso about how devastating Accutane is supposed to be on the body i.e. lipids and organs, hair, etc.

If you can have a hypothetical or even a straight up convo with a doctor, it would be really advantageous for you to know how long to run the Accutane and at how much or how to taper off, cause at some point you need to get off. I think we jump on drugs a lot easier than we get off, take PCT for instance, people fuck it it regularly. Not saying this is the same thing at all, just trying to emphasize that there is probably a protocol in how to jump off the Accu.
Good luck with this my brother,
And hey come back to this thread with your results and findings. It's invaluable; caause as much as I'm proud of my gains, I'm always conscious of the zits I my back and shoulders, like someone mentioned earlier, looks like a shotgun blast. LOL.
