I said "expensive as shit" because the screenshot shows $426.00 per sample. When I asked @Doug_S "how it works", I was not mocking him, not at all. Used HPLC on eBay is between $600-2000 and I really want to know what is necessary for one to conduct a test on his own.How much is expensive?
HPLC stands for "High-performance liquid chromatography" i.e. either the reference sample or the test sample must be "liquefied" in order to be used with HPLC. If so, every test would require $426.00 as prerequisite for the actual test (again, this is an assumption at the moment and this is why I want to know how it works).
However, if the above is the case, how one can do a test for $150 when calibration alone cost 426.00???
If the calibration is one time deal, then yes, $150 seems reasonable.
Think of me as Fox Mulder of HGH, just... "I want to know"
