All things grappling

What is everyone’s opinion of weight cutting going into a comp?

I would cut weight to keep out of ultra heavy when I first started competing and I really hated it. A lot of extra stress going into the event. For me, as long as I’m not going into ultra, I will not cut weight.

I did a day before weigh in once and I still didn’t like it. I came way down and still didn’t feel right by the next day.
do literally ANYTHING to never compete at ultra again. have had plenty of ridiculous fatty weight cuts over the years. got my shit a lot more together this last year and a half so its a lot nicer.

i like to fill out the bracket i'm in as much as i can so i'll do a moderate little water cut and drop carbs andstuff a few days out so i have plenty of room to not stress before the scale and be able to eat and have a full tank on the day.

my frame i should probably be fighting at medium heavy, been hitting heavyweight consistently now without much fuss.

"100 bucks says you are a heavy weight! lol" haha fuck off. true

Well i think iv decided on my cycle to get back into "competition shape". Been 2 years since my last cycle. Current hrt is 150mg test 100mg deca.
Currently 185 pounds (84kg) compete at 83 kg
Will be running 12 weeks;
250mg test /wk
100mg deca /wk
50mg tren /wk
5mg cialis + reg daily supplements.

Drop back down to hrt then 6-8 weeks leading into comps add 20mg tbol ed

all the ADCCs in my area are done unfortunately but there is a few turnys in july/sept I'm considering.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Mo added a few more ADCC opens in various areas as the year progresses. No gi pans and no gi worlds are options too since it sounds like you are a no gi guy

Definitely no gi guy, bought a new gi in Nov last year and have worn it exactly 0 times.
Only thing with pans and worlds is i hate points just cuase major stalling and they test the winners now and deca has a very long detection time

Benefits of being a masters competitor is no testing!

How much do you get from the 50mg tren? Do you just do one injection of E a week?

I have a 200/100 TNT blend so .25 twice a week.
I just want the nutrition partitioning effects so I'm experimenting to find the lowest effective dose for myself.

I'm interested to see if the same mental effects reoccur at a low dose. Lately iv just been derping around and doing silly stuff while rolling, hopefully it will give drive to roll hard consistently again.
Certainly, we can say that the 350 mg trenbolone acetate "beginner" dose is extremely high.

Human equivalent dosing from a Synovex implant that delivers 200 mg trenbolone acetate + 20 mg estradiol & has a duration of activity between 80 - 90 days equates to ≈ 0.078 mg/kg weekly, or 7.8 mg tren ace for 100 kg man.

Moreover, bovid are less AR-dense than humans in skeletal muscle, meaning that all else being equal they require a higher dose than humans for equivalent anabolism.

Of course, there are considerable differences in metabolism between man and bovid that might cause orders of magnitude discrepancies in net anabolism.

Bioluminescence data that quantifies the relative potency to transactivate the AR that suggests that 350 mg/w trenbolone is ≈ to 1.5 g/w testosterone.

Finally, we have human evidence, unfortunately with a high risk of bias, in the form of self-reports from professional bodybuilders who competed during the early 1980s to 1997 and used Negma's Parabolan. These professionals report using one or two 1.5 mL ampoules containing 76 mg of trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate (equivalent to 50 mg trenbolone base) weekly for phenomenal changes to physique.

After reasoning through all these considerations, we can say confidently that 350 mg weekly trenbolone acetate is stupidly high for a 180 lb man on his third cycle.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes I have. I was Low.
At 46 Years old
T was 6.8
Free T was 157

Was attempting the prescribed compounded route in Australia. Discussions with Doc were to stay off the T as I was working on a baby. Put me on some DHEA and HCG to try boost without impacting fertility. I don't know if that's the right way or not, but the doc is the professional and I know nothing.

Anyway, the Mrs is pregnant now. So am definitely exploring options.
Currently running BCP157 and TB500 with some Retra. I'm turning into a machine. Losing weight and feeling great on the mats.

I don't know where to start with T. There is some much out there, and too much information. Its confusing. I also want to consider going for another child in a year or so, which is in my equations.

I really want to just improve my performance in Jits , mainly Cardio, agility and flexibility. Since my injury is gone now, I want to return to competing, which is black belt level now, most of these older black belts that compete are on shit. Will never compete worlds, just the Aus titles. I'm already a heavy-set dude and not looking for extra muscle. I naturally increase size easily when I lift. (I know what a problem to have huh.) so I don't want to blast T for gains. I'm more interested in dropping my weight, increasing recovery, performance and endurance, all while still having the potential for another kid down the track.

Yea the T world is confusing and overwhelming. This forum is a wealth of info, but it's definitely a university degree to understand.
