Funny Things You see at the Gym

Yep. That’s aggravating. Or the people who will place their cell phone or some other personal item on a bench as a place holder why they use other gym equipment.
This is y I go to the gym between 2am and 6am, I can super set or what ever all I want.
The lazy bums come in that look like crap, and take over everything I can’t handle that.

I hate to judge people at the gym because who the hell am I. But there’s a dude at my gym who does 1/4 reps on literally every workout. In my head I call them sneezers because it’s exactly what it looks like he’s doing, cracks me up.

A recent survey revealed the top 10 worst/irritating things you can do at the gym.

  • Not wiping down equipment after use - this one doesn’t bother me unless the person is dripping sweat on the equipment
  • Hogging machines while scrolling on their phone
  • Taking selfies in busy areas
  • Filming workouts in crowded spaces
  • Treating the gym as a social hangout
  • Excessive grunting during exercises - this is kind of funny to me.
  • Leaving weights scattered everywhere
  • Overly loud conversations on Bluetooth headsets
  • Dropping weights dramatically for attention
  • Using multiple machines at once without sharing - this one can be irritating

“The survey also revealed half of adults are being put off exercising because of the judgmental culture in gyms. Around 25 percent of those polled said they were too embarrassed to work out in a gym, and 27 per cent worry about what regular gym-goers will think of them.”

Lady had set up a camera with selfie stick, etc and proceeded to do Zumba in front of 120 to 150 dumbbells the other day. I really thought it was some kind of prank. Wild.
The TikTok generation. If it’s not recorded did it even really happen.

I think some gyms forbid it. I don’t know what the policy is at my gym but I haven’t seen anyone recording video.
I couldn't really believe it. But now you got teens posing in mirror between sets with no development. In the old days (90s at the Y) they would have laughed you out or thrown you out haha.

But the kids now seem to have no shame. I still can't pose in the mirror or in locker room. Young chubsters do it routinely without a second thought.

Okay boomer.

Crocs are appropriate for literally every occasion.

Name another form of footwear that has such a broad and flexible use case.

You can even decorate them with colorful, expressive charms.

If that's not "cool", then I don't know what is.
i seen some with some gnarley teeth and some crazy face on a pair,,

its not forbidden but im in eastern europe and things are probably bit different than in western countries.
Oddly enough I live in Eastern Europe and a gym where I was going literally had a tripod crew and it was so annoying, luckily they opened a newer one inside a tall building and all the influencer crew ran there with their tripods.
Now the gym is clear, until more tripod crew will join, so not all Eastern European behave the same lol
