An insulin index of foods

Right. But it takes time to break the long chains down to glucose thereby keeping serum glusose AND insulin levels down. This has been discussed in depth already SOMEWHERE in here. It has to do with hepatic metabolism, triglycerides, VLDL, pattern B LDL, etc.
Try the lipids thread for more info.

really. im not asking. more like questioning. are carbs not carbs. fruits are on the list. so are complex carbs. complex carbs into glucose. fiber is glucose. cellulose. bound so it cant be digested. whatever. fruit. whole fruit. fructose. and im interested to see the sugar content before luther burbank. fructose. glucose. sucrose. sucrose= fructose and glucose. and milk products. lactose. lactose is glucose and galactose. some starches dont take that long to break down. thats why theyre high on the glycemic scale. rice. potatoes. white bread. theres more. somethong like vitargo. something new? almost. not a sugar though. worse that sugar? it has its applications. it boosts insulin and stores beter as glycogen. is that bad.
what has been discussed. WHERE. ill get to it. refined cabohydrates, especially high fructose corn syrup. if youve ever tasted glucose, its not as sweet as some others. sucrose. or fructose. and i think fructose is recomended to diebetics because of it low status on the glycemic index.
maybe i should test my theories. or diet. inside. ive already done it. outside. maybe i could get some numbers.
a new thread. or a sticky. some simple tests. i know some are in the lipids thread. and mens health seems more for those on trt. overlapping. somewhat. but id acctually have to put my shit together. and keep it there. but id be much better off. so what numbers and tests are worthwhile.
