Anavar holding me back?

10mg anavar is less than half the maximum clinical dosage used in trials, lol.

The anavar is barely doing anything to you.
If these old men can do it. So can I damnit.

I run 25mg daily and it’s my sweet spot could maybe lower a hair to be honest.

50 mg a day was making my BP go wonky was giving me headaches and what not.

The metrics in that study are for a whole different purpose of use than what is being discussed here seems like an apples to oranges argument.

That study is trying to put on lean mass on elderly men.

Users of Anavar on this forum would be inherently more active and more strain on their organs because of that

I don’t know anyone who’s worth their salt that would advise long term use of orals expect maybe some drs trying to treat elderly patients that have issues with muscle mass production/retention like the study said

But to each their own

What do you mean more strain on organs because we are more active?

I mean that i would have to assume that someone who is highly active taking multiple compounds at a time as someone would probably be doing if they are taking Anavar at all and are on this forum would more than likely having more strain on the organs that are being used process it and also just on the systems that that the compound directly affects.

As it relates to my comment about the fella who attatched a study that doesnt directly reflect the metrics of people using Anavar in the way that people on this forum would use it is that I don't think you could make a good case to run orals for an extended period of time as a good approach. especially based on a study that the guy cited was Anavar being used to help elderly men gain/retain muscle tissue.

but obviously it varies from individual to individual.

if i was on the fence about it and was trying to find some guidance i wouldnt look at that study and think that was definitive proof that it would be ok to do long term.

I might have not been clear in what i was trying to say and hell i might be wrong and am always open to learning something.

It depends on what compounds. Not all of them are hard on the liver. I wouldn't run 2 orals at once. If I ran tren with another oral I would be highly cautious. Max typical dose of var is 100mg so stay at 50.

Regardless we get blood work to see the effects right?

I would say there isn't definitive proof of how long the drug could be used for but these will give us an idea.

Even anadrol at 25-100 was used in old men. I think 3 months

Right

My only significant point is that people (such as yourself) I’ve seen on this forum do a fantastic job of giving advice in a way that gives realistic views and opinions that seem to have harm reduction as the utmost priority and giving the best advice with that as a foundation.

I’ve been fortunate to gain a wealth of knowledge from just reading a lot of you guys that are well known/long time members either posts or reactions to other posts and my only opinion was while it is doable would it be the best option for someone who is say not nearly as advanced as some of you clearly are.

I'm not as advanced as you think. I just have a health background and I like data collection. I remember information based off of arguing/debating. Brings drive to learning.

Basic understanding of pharmacology for preventative measure and current practice.

I also understand what is reasonable and practical vs ridiculous standards that people may impose on one another.

Makes sense

Either way i can always appreciate someone knowing more than i do and taking the time to offer that info/knowledge to people in need of it.

Ive gotten a lot of good feedback and a better general understanding from a lot of different folks on this forum.
