Anavar only cycle - 1st cycle of AAS - Comments and suggestions

ANY oral steroid is going to be hepatoxic. Most injectables are safe, there are a few that are also alkylated and go through the liver, but test obviously not.


Oxandrolone, as with other 17-alkylated steroids, is hepatotoxic. At one time it was thought that it is not, but both clinical and practical experience with Oxandrin has shown that liver toxicity can indeed be an issue with prolonged use. I believe the usual principle of limiting 17-alkylated use to 6 weeks at a time should be applied when oxandrolone is used, just as with any alkylated oral.

Let me just also tell you something from experience, orals do destroy the liver, and all of us that take them know the side effects, I have limited my use of orals to once a year, but after this last round of blood work, and a pretty hefty scare I won't be touching orals ever again. In 3 mores weeks I have to go back and get more blood work done to see how things are. And guess what, I took every precaution known to man to prevent issues.

Thank you for your advice TrainHard2, I will use Milk Thistle but I had also red that Milk Thistle some how depletes the amount of Anavar that is distributed into the body (dont quote me because I dont have a source but ill try and find it). Having said that I will use milk thistle. My body is extremely important.

I’m now finished my first week of Anavar only. 50mg ED

Dosage have been 20mgs in the AM then 30mgs before workout around 430-500PM

Strength - Haven’t noticed the strength quite yet, usually takes 2 weeks before noticing the strength increase… from what I have heard of course.

Vascularity – A little yes. My sister and I went to the gym together for an abdominal + cardio + forearm workout. Usually don’t do forearms but I decided to do them to see if I could notice the vascular increase in my forearms… As I finished the set my sister said “holy your veins look like they are going to explode”.

Hardness – Nothing really.

Pumps – I can’t really notice anything, I usually obtain a good pump while working out but I’m sure another week ill be noticing an increase in pump.

Fat loss – Nothing really as it’s my first week of the cycle and I shouldn’t notice any effects for a while.

Recovery time – YES, did a ridiculous leg workout and had a feeling I would be walking like I had a pole up my ass the next day… Woke up and felt like I didn’t work my legs out at all.

Libido – Still 100%

Ball Shrinkage – Nothing

Appetite suppression – None what so ever, to be honest im f-ing starving all the time. Way more then pre-cycle.

Diet – Prior to this cycle I was on a strict diet with low carb intake and ECA stack lowering my body fat… Percentage wise no idea, I have visible abdominals without flexing. Now iam increasing calorie intake which is mostly low fat protein and complex carbs (oats to be exact, no sugar good organic shit).

Example of diet for 1 day –
1) Morning 2 eggs, 2 eggs whites, bowl of oats with cut up strawberries or other fruits that I have
2) Chicken breast or tuna or lean beef, small potatoes with no toppings, fresh carrots or another type of veggie/fruit
3) Chicken breast or tuna or lean beef, whole grain rice, veggies
4) Pre workout meal – Oats with protein shake
5) Post workout shake
6) Home cooked meal – Steak, Chicken, Pork then carbs and veggies
7) Depends on if im hungry at the time but sometimes just a night time shake or a small snack.

I was training 1 muscle group a day, 5 days a week with 1 day of cardio + abs.

Iam now starting a 3 days split since the recovery time with the Anavar is amazing.

I will update next week. :D

Apparently ignorance is a commendable quality :rolleyes:

He checked his sources, did his research and stuck to his guns...It might not be right or it may end up being exactly what he wanted, the answer remains to be seen. I was not commending him on ignoring the advice of the forum members, but for sticking to what he believes to be the path he wants to take. There is no doubt that there may be aspects of his cycle that are questionable, but wishing him luck and seeing his results are all we can do at this stage.

Yesterday was Monday, I can finally start to feel the effects of the Anavar.

The pump was intense, I finished flat bench for the first time without a spot and benched a clean 185lbs - 8*4 - for the very first time in my life. I know that may seem weak but im 145 lbs.

Moved on to Inclined DB press. I usually can do 70-75lbs easy... The pump was so intense from flat BP that I couldn't hit the DB's together at the end of the repetition. It wasn't because I couldn't lift the weight was because the pump was to big to push my chest together. I only did 65lbs for 4 sets.

I also did abs at the end of my workout, my abs felt like they were going to explode out of my stomach the pump was so intense.

Forearms were feeling as if they were going to explode as well, i never get pumped forearms from doing chest and back. only when doing biceps

Im working out with 2 buddy's that are also on Anavar, one is taking 80mgs ED the other 100mgs ED. I have no idea how they get through there workouts with the pump from such high doses.

My muscles are looking fuller, haven't noticed any hardening effect quite yet. I can definitely feel the Anavar as its nothing else I have felt before with OTC supps.

The high in the gym is unbelievable. Almost a euphoria that cant i really explain lol.

I look forward to today's workout :)

Now im going to talk about size… I weighed roughly 145-147 pre-cycle Im now weighing in at a whopping 154-155. No idea how ive gained this much weight buuuuuut before I started the cycle I was on a low carb diet which including a lot of cardio and ECA stack. My diet contains more calories which could be the majority of the weight gain or the var?? lol. People will probably say im on D-bol or something… but I know im not. I will post some pictures soon so all the pessimistic people can settle down.

Recovery time – Yet again, recovery is insane…. Never hurting after a long hard workout.

Libido – Still 100%

Appetite suppression – Still hungry

Your cycle is pathetic, and of course you are seeing the results which we told you would result in an Anavar only cycle. Nothing. IF you were going to be dumb enough to run an oral only cycle at least run some Dianabol, not Var. Anyway like Stretch said, you proved ALL of us right, Congrats.

Its the stupidity that still amazes me, however, that's the problem with todays youth.

So whether its next month, next year, or ten years from now, crowe joke will be crying someplace about how fucked up he his from all of his stupid oral only steroid cycles he did and NOW he'll need our help and direction to become normal once again.

Im not half way done my cycle, close but not half way. Second you dont feel the full effects of the anavar until 2-3 weeks which im on the 3rd week.

Like I said 100000 times, im not looking to gain a shit load of weight, im looking to cut and obtain a dense, hard look.

As of right now, im happy with the results im seeing. You all wait until I post my pics and you will see what I have accomplished with a silly oral only cycle only.
 
^^^^^ yea prolly the same thing you could have achieved with diet and cardio-except if you did it with diet and cardio the gains wouldnt have vanished as soon as you come off.

trust me on that homie, my girl runs var only cycles-and it goes away within month or 2 after cycle :rolleyes:
 
weight gain is diet dependent-just imagine how the results would have been if you ran prop with that var;)

Well i guess i will figure this out on my own. Im very pleased with what im seeing. Ive gained 7-10 solid pounds of muscle in 3 weeks. I still have 4 more to go as well... We will see when my cycle concludes.
 
dude i dont like being the bearer of bad news but you have not gained 7-10 lbs of muscle in 3 weeks..........................sorry to dissapoint
 
just keep doing what your doing so you can learn for yourself-but im not interested in hearing about your gains til 45 days after your cycle.

and most of what you have gained so far is water-thats what you need the test for

Im not on here trying to make new friends or impress anyone. Hennnnce why im still doing this cycle...

I weighed myself PRE CYCLE at 145-147, the exact same scale in the gym is registering in @ 154-155... Ok fine, 5 lbs of muscle 5 lbs of fat. Hold on actually your 100% correct, 1 lb of muscle and 7-9 lbs of fat.

Ive been doing at least 30 mins of cardio a day all the way up to an hour. My abs are looking like steel plates, and im more defined then ever. I have not gained any fat.
