What I'm more interested in is why people want this to be bigger than it really is? The fate of the virus and all that will happen is pretty much set in stone. The numbers are providing models that will be very close to accurate, unlike the "we think" modeling that took place months ago.

The only reason to continue with this whole thing does point to politics, but in the name of science I'm refusing to take part in that (mainly because it's all speculating at this point).
