Anyone else about sick to fucking death of the term "social distancing"?

So you CAN build up immunity to viruses?

Sure you can, I mean coronaviruses are known to be able to reinfect after a certain amount of time, like the the four coronaviruses that cause a good chunk of the common colds. But it’s not like a reinfection will be like the first time where it’s a virus the immune system has never seen. I’m sure eventually this virus will probably end up like the others, a cold that only the people on the verge of death or immune compromised would need to worry about. Even now over half the people infected either don’t have symptoms or they’re so mild they don’t notice.

Anyone whose body has naturally fought off a cold in the last several years (a large percentage of people) will test positive for covid. And anyone who dies of anything is being chalked up as a covid death.

Only brain-dead sheeple can fail to see that this has nothing to do with health and is all about ulterior motives.

Some of the gyms here in Illinois are reopening. Not mine yet. Also not sure on the rules for going. The governor is threatening to send in state police to enforce the lockdown order and revoke business licenses. One local restaurant tried to reopen for dine in and the health department threatened them and they went back to take out only.

Sick to death of all of the stupid signs for "curbside service, take out, to-go ordering, online ordering, delivery" like we are supposed to think that is something special at this fucking point!! Hahaha

Illinois is one of the worst states to live in. they have a lot of debt. it’s only a matter time before the state ,local and county officials start putting a coronavirus tax on every sale in Illinois. and you know for sure they’re going to raise property taxes and sneak in there a coronavirus tax. fuck that state. they’re going bankrupt. they already are. they keep borrowing and borrowing and getting even more debt. everybody’s leaving to Wisconsin or Indiana.

One of the governors orders is you could go on your boat but you could only have two people on your boat even though you have a family of four or-five. only two people from the family could go on the boat but yet all of you could drive in the same car to the boat. fucking idiots running that state

Why do I get the feeling you’re referring to a specific person here? ;)
Ha Ha Actually, I wasn't, but yeah, he's in that camp for sure.

-Went to the greenhouse for veggie plants this morning. Saw the owner working there and wanted to ask him a question. Maybe I was walking too quickly because before I got to within 10 feet, he threw out his hands and started shouting "Whoa, STOP STOP STOP 6 FEET 6 FEET!" Holy shit, you would have thought I was covered in blood and revving a chainsaw.

You're not wrong. Cross into any other state and gas is instantly 20 cents or more cheaper a gallon, cigarettes are a couple bucks cheaper per pack, etc. My last job was with a moving company and business was booming moving people out of state.

I saw something like that at Kroger the other day. Some old man wasn't standing in his designated six feet spaced spot in line and the cashier started yelling at him to step back. He was half deaf and kept asking "what?" and she just kept yelling at him. I keep telling my girlfriend life is becoming like a sci fi movie.

What a dumb ass

Only 15% or so of colds are cause by a corona virus. Those 15% will test positive for CV19 antibodies, not the virus itself. So dying with cold antibodies doesn't automatically get a CV19 cause on the death certificate. There are plenty of ways the death stats are being inflated, but that's not one of them.

How do the reports of positive results from tests run on citrus fruit fit into the equation?

You should have told him if he can't handle being around ppl then close his fucking business down and stay at home in paranoia like the rest of the clowns

Aren't the viruses that cause the common cold also coronaviruses, albeit a milder strain and not the new one?

That's maybe because the tests look for a coronavirus, and the common cold is caused by another strain of it that is much weaker than COVID19, thus the test might conflate the cold virus with COVID19.

So I had a nasty cold this past winter...so if I were to be tested I'd have the antibodies to COVID19???

6 deaths NOT 190
Just one example of how the numbers are being hugely conflated:

County Supervisor Jim Desmond said this week on a conservative podcast critical of California’s stay-home orders that the San Diego region has only had “six pure, solely coronavirus deaths.”

The comment, which was made Tuesday on the show Armstrong & Getty Extra Large Interviews, suggested that all but six of the region’s roughly 190 deaths should be somewhat discounted because patients had underlying health conditions.

“We’ve unfortunately had six pure, solely coronavirus deaths — six out of 3.3 million people,” Desmond said on the show. “I mean, what number are we trying to get to with those odds. I mean, it’s incredible. We want to be safe, and we can do it, but unfortunately, it’s more about control than getting the economy going again and keeping people safe.”
