Dodgy Data Firm Behind Retracted Hydroxychloroquine Study Raises Questions Over Haphazard Decisions
A data analytics firm behind an influential - and now retracted Lancet study which concluded that Hydroxychloroquine is dangerous, has one employee and is headquartered in a residential house just west of Chicago. Yet its bogus data prompted the World Health Organization, the UK and France to halt clinical trial programs involving the controversial drug used to treat COVID-19.
The data firm, Surgisphere, was founded by 41-year-old Sapan Desai, an MBA who also holds a medical degree and a Ph.D. who is named on both The Lancet study and another now-retracted article in the New England Journal of Medicine. He has refused to explain how his tiny data analytics firm was able to procure their dodgy data after questions were raised over troubling inconsistencies - despite a letter to The Lancet from over 200 scientists demanding greater transparency regarding the hospitals where medical data came from, according to Bloomberg.

The World Health Organization walked back comments made Monday when one of its top scientists said transmission of the coronavirus by people who never developed symptoms is “very rare,” which drew skepticism from physicians and others across social media.
That admission sent shock waves throughout the world, much of which has been locked down for months for fear of spreading the virus by people who show no signs of illness.
Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of the WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said Tuesday that asymptomatic spread is a “really complex question” and much is still unknown. “We don’t actually have that answer yet,” she said.
“I was responding to a question at the press conference. I wasn’t stating a policy of WHO or anything like that. I was just trying to articulate what we know,” she said on a live Q&A streamed across multiple social media platforms. “And in that, I used the phrase ‘very rare,’ and I think that that’s misunderstanding to state that asymptomatic transmission globally is very rare. I was referring to a small subset of studies.”

The WHO is just trying to cover their ass due to their mouths opening and not fitting the BS agenda they originally created which isn’t coming to fruition. Everything was done based on unknowns. Those unknowns are proving to be much better than ever predicted, yet they want to keep their current fame going. I swear, if it weren’t for everyone wanting their 15 mins of fame or power none of this would have happened. We would have had heard immunity by now without the economic collapse.

Let’s see... could it be the tests are tainted as Tanzania has proven and even the US tests? While I don’t doubt that some have SOMETHING, I just don’t buy their narrative and numbers.
Asymptomatic disease is rarely a primary source of RESPIRATORY disease transmission, as asymptomatic "carriers" have a LOW,
pathogen, or in this case, viral load.
A fact the CDC and WHO are fully aware of ........ but panic has long preceded reason throughout this pandemic IMO.
The truth of the matter is we KNOW who is or is not capable of transmitting this disease, with a reasonable degree of medical certainty.

Nothing new, as Iv'e mentioned previously the patient population were and still are considered HIGH RISK for serious disease and/or transmission, regardless of symptoms.
The data seems reasonably clear; the virus enters the nasopharyngeal area and is able to spread into the lower respiratory tact and tends to "infect" the lungs in those with a compromised immune systems. What often follows is now termed SARS-COV-2 and a HIGH VIRAL LOAD.
And as such asymptomatic immune competent folk with colonization limited to the nasal passages, have LOW viral loads and are unlikely to be contagious per se.
What is NOT known? To what extent, if any, folk with asymptomatic disease pose to others WITH significantly compromised immune systems.

If the war on drugs was rescinded 90% of cops would have nothing to do. Then there's the FBI, ATF and about a thousand useless social programs. The CIA, Taliban and numerous Mexican drug cartels would also lose a major source of funding. And the prison industry would be decimated... Congress will never go for it..

The prison industry is sexist. there’s way more males than females incarcerated. I’m calling for a protest to even out those numbers. this is bullshit. Us men are getting incarcerated far too much compared to women. The system is totally rigged against men. this needs to stop.

Careful man, you're making too much sense for some people. In regards to defunding police, I read that instead of dialing 911, you would dial 311 and get a social worker...lol...Not sure how that helps while your house is being robbed. While they're at it, they should defund the fire dept. If your house is on fire, you call Wal Mart...Its hard to believe that this is the world we live in
