Anyone who has used HMG?

Human menopausal gonadotropin, anyone who has used it? Other than it's superior proclaimed effects on improving sperm quality, is there any other reason it's superior to HCG in your opinion? Thanks

Never personally used it but know a half a dozen people whom have used it.

HCG as you know goes on the leydig cells for testosterone production, hMG sertoli for sperm production.

Typically it's people on TRT that want to have a kid. You make sure they start including hCG. For fertility hCG is really good for intra-testicular testosterone levels. And if hCG alone doesn't increase fertility then try the hMG as well.

And if both of those don't work you can get off TRT and start recovering naturally, well with help of medications but you get it.

No kids anymore, I was asking because I have a friend who swears it's superior at preserving muscle mass between cycles. I was just curious if there was any other benefit to it, thanks for the reply

Never used it myself but I read that it mimics FSH better than HCG does.
HCG has mostly LH-like activity with some little FSH-like activity.

HMG can balance things out if HCG didn't work, while not being as expensive as recombinant FSH.
BTW, HMG is better used along HCG.

HCG boosts test levels way more than HMG IME. I do think HMG is excellent at sertoli regeneration though.

Whats a fertility protocol look like while using TRT?

Any chance that clomid can be used with HCG. Clomid replacing HMG?

If testes are working, 1000ius eod for hcg at least for 3months. Keep test injection to Minimum but may not be needed at all as 1000ius of hcg can raise your endogenous test higher than the middle of the normal range. Watch your estrogen carefully with that dose of hcg. Blood and sperm test at the end of 3 months to determine if further aid is needed from hmg

Damn 3 months huh? At what point would it be worth the shot of trying to conceive? How far into the HCG, doubt his testes are working tbh.

It takes about 3 months for sertolli cells to mature to sperm.
Do a baseline sperm test as well as fish, lh and testosterone to assess the state of fertility.
Hcg is only helpful if his testes are working ie if secondary hypogonadal. One way to test is by getting on hcg and if your endogenous test gets considerably higher than natural test levels then testes are working.
What are the pre-trt fsh, lh, test numbers?
