Prion diseases are misfiled proteins that cause the body to create copies of itself and wreck havoc on your brain. I heard someone else mention this on another forum and was wondering if this is true or if the risk is possible.

This isn’t a valid scientific response at all, as peptides may increase the risk if they contain prions. After a quick read from John Hopkins i feel pretty safe about not getting it. As only about 300 people do every year.
Who is at risk for prion diseases?
Risk factors for prion disease include:
- Family history of prion disease
- Eating meat infected by “mad cow disease”
- Infection from receiving contaminated corneas or from contaminated medical equipment
As it is a statement form John Hopkins which is a prestigious medical institution. It appears to be more scientific then your statement, which is not backed up by anything. But if you would care to post a few scientific sources where the average person is contracting this disease i would be more then happy to read what you have found. I myself tend to not worry about things that i only have a miniscule chance of having to deal with as there are better thing i can do with my time to improve my life. But i totally support you doing as you please to safeguard your health. This isn’t a valid scientific response at all, as peptides may increase the risk if they contain prions.
What about peptides makes them likely to be contaminated with prions to the point of your concern jumping from 1:21,000,000,000 according to a medical journal to worth worrying about? Genuine question; why are peptides of concern? This isn’t a valid scientific response at all, as peptides may increase the risk if they contain prions.
Because peptides are protein chains. Prion diseases are misfolded proteins that make copies of themself and cause problems. Maybe I’m misinformed about what prions are but my thinking was that if there’s an impure peptide, what’s stopping it from causing all sorts of problems? What about peptides makes them likely to be contaminated with prions to the point of your concern jumping from 1:21,000,000,000 according to a medical journal to worth worrying about? So you are assuming that any protein chain that gets into the human body will automatically start to replicate itself?Because peptides are protein chains. Mis-formed proteins are abundant in nature if I am not mistaken. I'm no expert on the disease but I'd expect this is the result of a very specific protein or class of protein, not all abnormal proteins.Because peptides are protein chains. It is a concern. The risk is there. But if you really want to freak out, realize that half the world apparently took the covid-19 injections, which essentially caused the permanent installation of instructions to manufacture amyloidogenic proteins, which are "prion-like", and we don't know the environmental impact, since people are spreading these proteins in their bodily excretions.Prion diseases are misfiled proteins that cause the body to create copies of itself and wreck havoc on your brain. Wow really? I never heard of this.It is a concern. The risk is there. Did you take the injections?Wow really? I never heard of this.
I did. It was forced onto me from my job. I got the first 2 injections willingly (I never get flu shots or anything, I only got this because Covid seemed like a serious issue at the time), but the booster was forced otherwise I would have been fired.Did you take the injections?
Well I couldn’t afford to lose my job and vaccine seemed safe at the time. I have no bad effects from it except for the reaction following the injection. Did you ever get it?Wow. That is unfortunate, but you weren't forced to take it. Everyone says they were forced, but that's not an excuse. You lacked the courage to stand up to the system. You caved in and you didn't do your research (if you would have spent 5 minutes researching SARS-CoV-2, you'd have understood these prion and other problems. And you'd have never taken any injections). I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I can't understand how people can allow their workplace or anyone else, to force them to receive a medical procedure (everyone I know who rejected the injection mandate either kept their jobs or found higher paying jobs). I don't want to go off topic or make you feel bad, because the damage is done now.
So what can you do? I have a stack of papers on this topic. If you search for SARS-CoV-2 and prions, you can search for yourself. Solutions? I don't know any, besides praying that you somehow got a saline solution or a defective batch. I think using Nattokinase and Serrapeptase etc, to theoretically "eat" these proteins, would be one thing. There are other supplements and herbs that also have the potential to help with the amyloidosis. But no one knows what may really work..........the research is ongoing.
I have done a lot of research on this but I'm so exhaustedly done with this topic now. I can refer you to some good substacks and papers maybe.

Is there a way to test if you have these proteins in your body? How do you know serrapeptase has done something for you?I can confirm serrapeptase definitely does something.
You would need to do a biopsy, but no one is going to do it for you because no one wants to talk about it, or even see it. Discussion of the topic is basically forbidden because the implications are horrifying. Luckily, we see the amyloidosis throughout the body (when the autopsies are done with the intent of looking for it and not covering it up). So far, basically every autopsy of those who received it has these proteins. Yes, they are in the brain. People are dying of prion diseases in the brain that are a result of the injections, everyday and it's everywhere, but you have to go searching for that because the mainstream doesn't talk about it. The injections create amyloidosis in every organ. It's a disaster. I can only hope that somehow, maybe, possibly, that the body will be able to kill these cells off, eventually, and slow down the degeneration. As of now, the mRNA is extremely durable, persistent, and the code to create these amyloid prion like protein production is installed permanently into your DNA, forever producing said proteins in that cell.Is there a way to test if you have these proteins in your body? How do you know serrapeptase has done something for you?
There were ways around it. But you are correct: for a long time, until 2022, flying to many locations was impossible for many who couldn't figure out how to bypass these restrictions.Unfortunately standing up the system is 50/50, for anyone who is not vaccinated and stood up the system, they likely have not traveled internationally since March 2020, and/or you are their own boss (own a company). pretty much thats about it. international travel obligates you vaccinate at least twice
but the stats are still rather small for prion disease
from what i seen on some podcasts this long covid messes with blood platelet lvls and 2 other markers.
