I really would have discussed it with him. But if you can not admit basic facts there's no point in it. The people doing these acts are all doing it in the name of Islam. That's not debatable.

How is it relevant? The only relevance is Syria.
There were attacks in Paris where IS claimed they were responsible.
How are they connected to the Refugees leaving Syria seeking asylum in USA?
Do you think that IS are undercover and planning to infiltrate through the refugees?
Do you think that IS are planning on putting spies in through there? What stops them from doing it another way? Why is the refugee thing instrumental here?
The refugees leaving Syria are seeking a better life and I would be grateful for a country accepting me. I do not find it feasible in anyway that the refugees wants to come to a country where they are already hated and a minority. They want to come here and sit around all day and hate "infidels?"

There are far more crimes and acts of terror being done by other ethnic or "religious" groups. All these school shootings going on and America just says that the kid is psycho. BUT if there are psycho Muslims they blame it on Islam...
I don't have anything against Muslims per se. Most of then are as ignorant of what their faith teaches as Christians, or they just don't believe it or care enough about it to practice it.
What I have a big problem with is a so-called "religion" that teaches that "Jews are the most vile of creatures." and considers me not just inferior, but unclean - falling somewhere between semen and dogs on the Islamic filth scale. And I take issue with a religion that commands its followers to spread the faith by the jihad.
So yeah, I don't have a problem with "Muslims" who are willing to respect my rights and accept me as their equal. And I have no problem with Muslims that are willing to renounce the Shari'a, female genital mutilation, honor killing, the subjugation of women, and the death penalty for homosexuals.
I have no respect for Islam because it's a facist, violent supremacist POLITICAL ideolgy.

Do you feel that this interpretation of Islam stretches to ALL Muslim countries?
Eritrea has a 90% female genital mutilation rate and it's a 50% Christian and 50% Islamic country.
A lot of different people may read the Koran, it's the interpretation of the ideology of the one reading it that gets passed on.
I can't speak of all of the Muslim countries or Islam as a whole, just like USA Mexico and Brazil are christian but they are very different countries and have different values. Same book, different interpretation.

Have you seen any other religion blowing themselves up and intentionally targeting civilians on a routine basis? No. Just Muslims.

You tried to say once before "the important difference" between Islam and Christianity had something to do with scripture. Even after I linked a sermon by a prominent preacher using scripture to justify war. The true difference is our actions, and whatever you want to believe about history, Christian armies today are killing more innocent people than Muslim terrorists.
