Asis avulsion fracture

A while back when I was a big strong dude, I fractured my hip on a set of squats. I had no clue it happened when it did, only a few weeks after when my rom decreased while squatting along with tightness did I realize something was off.

I went and had an MRI and as it turns out I had an Asis avulsion fracture. Just under the 3cm lesion threshold I wasn't a candidate for surgery. Rest and time was the best treatment for me and out the door I went.

Now, I have a long and complicated list of injuries. My right side is essentially Frankensteined together and these injuries all feed off one another. It's messy tbh. Nothing that's can't be worked through, but still, it's messy.

What I am posting about has to do with excess bone regrowth regarding the hip fracture. I'm in the gym and beginning to add weight again. It's nice to be headed in this direction but I'm still in need of help with this hip. I can literally feel a bump where the original fracture was, and it's an impingement point. I have had some sort of excess regrowth there and it's not a good thing.

Outside of getting a small procedure to smooth it down surgically, is there anything I can do to help this? I haven't found much online yet, although I found a guy with a climate controlled storage unit that can do the procedure there for like 85$ and a happy meal o_O

Thanks for reading and I appreciate the following posts. :)

What’s up buddy. I don’t have an answer for you but a suggestion. I don’t know if you remember but a while back we were talking about injuries and I was telling you about the accident I had and showed you a pic with my leg with all the pins and shit in it. Anyway. I’ve been in chronic pain almost my whole life. The last few years has been getting worse especially around the time my busy season hits. Last September just for shits and giggles I decide to try @opti HGH. Figured fuck it maybe it will help me lose a little belly fat and whatever else that shit does lol. About a month or so into it I wake up one morning and my ankle doesn’t hurt. Don’t think much of it because I have good days and the pain isn’t bad. Like 2 weeks goes by and nothing. No pain. Or at least what I consider no pain. It’s been 5 months and it’s been fucking amazing. I posted about it in his thread too. Not sure what your experience with growth is but could be something to consider.

I've used growth a few times, and I enjoyed it for the most part. The last time I used it, I got injured about a month into my cycle (distal bicep rupture). I continued with trt and low dose GH during surgery and rehab. I ended up back in surgery two months after the initial procedure to remove a heterotopic ossification that had grown around the repaired tendon. Ever since the HO growth, I have been suspicious of GH as the culprit. I have no clue if it is just me tryin to connect dots that aren't there or what, but I'm sort of suspicious

When I was laid up with my femur procedure years earlier, I was having a hard time with growing bone. Now I'm growing it with reckless abandon lol.

How have you been? Well i hope

I think with all this shit we do we all have our own personal likes and dislikes and responses to it. It’s kinda crazy how we all respond differently. Anyway was just a suggestion. Good luck with the guy and the van lol.

This winter was kinda shitty. Woman issues. That shit will do a number on you lol. How about you. How’s the house coming along.

Good, slowly, but good. We start the foundation soon and I'm being told it's about 14-16 weeks in total for the move in point. We'll see. Full steam ahead on most fronts

Wait I’m lost. I thought the house you bought you were renovating. Did you give up and just knock it the fuck down lol.

Haha my bad, we've been busy. We finished the renovation and sold the house. We wanted to come back to our old area, so we decided to build on our families land. Plenty of space to build and we'll have substantially less debt so that's a win.

We did well with the renovation. I wouldn't want to do it again but it's nice to know it can be done. The house was really nice and I was kinda broken up about leaving it. A shit load of work went into rebuilding her. I basically gave away a year of my life to it.

I hear ya but that’s pretty cool that you were able to do that. Good luck with the new house.
