Squatting is like milk. Should be in everybodies diet. Its rich in mass and high in muscle activation. A classic perfect cornerstone that everything should revolve around. Yes, i understand some ppl cant skwat just like some cant digest milk. Then find alternative means. But the truth is MOST ppl dont skwaat because its HARD. Plain and simple.

Also its the one peice of equipment that i NEVER have to worry someone gonna jump on it while im getting a drink of water, although i do have to chase a few "band" users off my rack from time to time [emoji35]
 
yea dude those are big!!!!I would love that. Even if my upper body was scrawny lol. To have legs like that.


There is always someone at my gym squatting, at the two racks for it. It sort of sucks. But I have some big guys at my gym. Many squat over 400, easy.

Jeebus... it is like a fucking line drawing of vectors from one of the more scientifically oriented books on squatting... Amazing. My back angle isn't that stable during warms up sets!

If I have retained half that muscle mass and strength by 61 it will be awesome.
 
I've been exchanging thoughts with another person in regards to myostatin antibodies. My research has been limited so far since I just started but here's a couple studies for people to look at and share their thoughts.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the first of a three-part series on growth hormone is complete and should be posted this week. Due to the complexity of these topics, I felt it was probably best to split them up into separate articles...

I am not aware of a trial that has specifically compared groups of subjects who immediately transition to intake deficits and those who do not, however I was actually discussing this very topic with Lyle a few months back and we both kind of agree that the answer may be "yes".

Yes, in the sense that hypertrophy is a complex process with numerous factors involved. Some of which happen more in the acute sense, but many others in a more chronic sense. So, if we immediately stop giving our body the fuel it requires to finish up these chronic process, then it would seem reasonable to speculate that some of these processes never complete, leading to "hypertrophy on the table" so to speak...
Forgot to ask right when you answered this, but how long would you personally recommend a person eat at maintenance for before transitioning into a cut?

I tend to normally recommend folks don't transition directly from growth phases and into fat loss phases and vice versa.

The time spent at maintenance will vary (e.g. are they enhanced, how aggressive was the last phase, etc)? But a nice rule of thumb:

Complete Phase
Maintain (Obtain Bloodwork)
Transition to Next Phase

The maintenance phase normally will last weeks-to-months, depending upon user circumstances.
 
Hold onto your pants ladies and gentlemen. This is the shit that Dr. Scally does that nobody notices or they forget about it. Very rarely do ppl even respond to these threads

And why is that ------ I suspect the reasons vary but I know from personal experience the "likes" one receives from posting a citation would make any evidence based member cringe at the overt lack of interest ------ many instead preferring a "bro's" perspective OR A BIG SPOON! (Something we once called LAZINESS)

Yet how prophetic many of the latter are the first to cry out what's your "proof" when a "contradictory" evidence based vs "bro science" comment is posted.

I mean a good example of the latter are questions posed about AAS cardio-toxicity ---- have these "members" even looked at Doc Scally's thread on the subject ---- from the looks of things ---- few have

I was not implying that science journals, articles, studies etc.. are the only way to learn. I'll expand my statement.

I've found the majorly of people dabbling in AAS do almost nothing to educate themselves and can't be bothered to research anything and rely on fellow "bros" for advice. It's incredibly lazy and if you spend time researching you can learn the theories, concepts and science behind things then put them into practice yourself and find what works for you. That would be marrying science and application would it not?

Maybe it's just that I don't trust other humans and am not willing to risk it with advice from a stranger on the internet.

And such insight comes w age and once again is one of the primary reasons
Mesos youngsters get into trouble running AAS. ----- a firm belief others their age have the answers they need.
 
I have been on masteron at least 40 weeks at 200mg wk weather blast or cruise. FYI I'm on doc trt. What's your thoughts on 200mg test/mast wk year round.

Generally speaking, the risks associated with supratherapeutic doses of AAS are pretty well documented so I won't delve too deeply here however I would make sure that 200mg/week of testosterone is keeping you well within therapeutic ranges.

Although masteron (drostanolone) is seen as mild by bodybuilder types, I'm not convinced this is the same thing as suggesting it is safe as it relates to long-term usage in HRT regimens.

There is not going to be a lot in the literature that directly relates to bodybuilder-types beyond case studies, that often include other compounds in the mix, so conclusions are going to be speculative at best. Many masteron users tend to report prostate sensitivity, potentially mediated via elevated DHT levels and the sensitivity of the prostate to DHT. PSA tests should be strongly considered...
