Assessing heart health

Scheduling a blood test for tomorrow and because of the things I have read about npp (first time incorporating it into protocol (300mg)) in regards to its affects on the heart. I was just wondering if it were necessary to be testing for other heart health indicators like alipoprotein, or not. Since it is correlated with cholesterol readings, is a standard lipid panel enough?

Depends on what your risk tolerance is. Do you or your family have a high risk for heart issues? The more data the better IMO. With that being said, I just do the standard blood work for someone taking gear and get a echocardiogram done once a year.
