It’s insane the change you made with just 9lbs lost. You looked pretty damn soft at 247, looking good here. I’d have guessed a lot more lost than that.

I was sitting right at 240 basically since 12 weeks out and we are currently 9 weeks out, changes were happening constantly but there was definitely some underlying water retention or something of the sort, and I think also just a decent amount of recomping was done as I was at 250g protein a day and still eating fairly high cals, just this past week have things really gotten low at all with low days being 2100 cals and training days being more like 2500

My body did this same thing last year, only difference is my current coach didn’t panic and start throwing everything at the wall, just stuck with the plan and executed it, I’m really excited to see how shredded I am in another couple weeks

These meals for the past 13 weeks, macro breakdowns are in this thread for previous updates, this is current macros, typo in training day calories, haven’t added it myself but I would guess it’s 2500 something something

Awesome man, great knowing you found a coach who knows what they’re doing when weightloss stalls or body response gets tricky. Have you found a posing coach yet being that you’re 9 weeks out? How often are you practicing posing? You’ve got a great physique but getting that posing perfect could mean the difference between 4th and 1st place

My coach is online mostly just cause distance but I’m seeing him next week for in person tweaks and such, I do at least 15 minutes post workout every workout but trying to do longer sessions now

Check out Daniel Coffeen on instagram. (His prices are crazy but he posts a ton of stuff for free), he also once monthly offers free posing critiques and adjustments, I’ve learned a lot from following him
 
I may have missed it but any changes to PEDs? I saw 350 test 350 mast, is it still the same at 9 weeks out with no clen, t3, etc?
Just test and mast, no plans to add clen or anything for this show, I’m going to try to add one thing every prep instead of just doing the laundry list all at once
 
Forgot to upload progress from this last Saturday, new low of 238 ish here, and as of yesterday a new low of 235, 9 weeks out here

235 with a pump as well as we added 750g fruit to training days and removed rice from all except one meals (back relaxed looks kinda ass cause I leaned back too far and decided to just take a screenshot of me mid pose as I leaned forwards to release it rather than just having a washed out picture)

Heading for some in person posing Friday with the coach, will post updated posing when that happens for sure

Last year show day at 215 vs tonight at 235.. lol, I’d say the redemption is on a solid path so far

@Mac11wildcat just wanted to tag you/thank you cause I remember you giving me some advice on how to pull this look together at like 3 weeks out.. I learned my lesson, work harder earlier, and coast into show day easier

Replacing the rice with fruit is interesting. That would surely affect your pumps and performance in gym no? What was the reason behind the swap?
Cravings, and I’ve been on the same diet since 22 weeks out so we changed things up, if anything my pump was a lot better, possibly from such a different micro nutrient profile? I was veiny as fuck and matched my strength on most movements if not lifted more on some of them, but the main thing is I was getting crazy cravings so we made some changes to add some volume and variety

interesting. I will say I need fruit when dieting too lol something sweet a couple times a day is a life saver
