Corruption is everywhere Jim. Not just China. I know someone that dealt with IP for 8 years, never a problem. Then again.............. I've followed Stretch's posts for quite awhile, about Christianity and other topics. I think you begin to get a feel for a mans character after a time. The good, the bad, and the ugly begins to come out.

I think people are starting to jump to conclusions based off of not a lot of information. It's probably in everyone's best interest to just sit tight until more information comes to light. If something on Bio's end got fucked, Stretch is the kind of person who will say so. My money is on things just being delayed due to going public, the holidays, and having a shipper rip them off all the same time. But I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

I'll preface my remarks by saying this: I believe Stretch to be an honest man. I do NOT believe Stretch would intentionally rip anyone off AND I believe everyone with orders pending will receive eventually.

That said, the difficulties Stretch is currently having, and the sequence of events that have unfolded as a result of those difficulties, is precisely what happens when sources go bad. And Stretch has been around long enough to know this. That makes his absence conspicuous and notable. His absence is only fanning the flames and making people nervous. Good or bad, Stretch needs to be on Meso everyday to face the music, as well as reassure those who have spent money - in some cases, a significant amount of money - on "his" business. I understand his embarassment over this mess but unless he is in jail or deathly ill, excuses like family difficulties, vacation, etc., won't cut it. His presence is absolutely critical at this time.

I'm sure my comments are going to piss Stretch off. I'm also sure I'm going to piss off a few of Stretch's loyalists. So be it. I think it's important for everyone to understand that Stretch is more than just a "good guy." He cannot be considered a "regular" member by any stretch of the imagination - no pun intended. He's a businessman who earns his money from the good members on Meso. Therefore, he's certainly not above criticism or suspicion. The fact that he's a good guy is irrelevant. I've been around this racket long enough to see many, many "good guys" go bad - people you would least expect. Therefore, even if he has nothing to report in the way of news, Stretch's presence is needed to dispel everyone's worst fears, no matter how unlikely or unfounded they may be.

I don't think it's "wrong" for Stretch to have gone dark. He's not required to check in with anyone here? The guy has basically lived on line for the last 2 yrs. It's clear you are not pleased with the change in his day to day activities. And the correct way to express your displeasure is to post up in the Bio thread as you've done,

Maybe stretch isn't prepared to answer your questions and doesn't want to bullshit you? Maybe he's trying to take a new approach to doing business? IMO, the way things should go is at the beginning a source needs to get off the ground and, as I said above, "train" their customers. Once that is done they should back away from the public eye and stick to the model they established when they came on board. They'll be around longer.
Day after day posting and advertising on an open board as large as we are is recipe that doesn't have a happy ending. It's not easy to stop posting and shooting the shit as he and other popular members make meso part of their daily routines. Dealing on the streets people have a tendency to be much more secretive. Heavy traffic at a residence draws unwanted attention and chit chat amongst nosy neighbors that may start a neighborhood watch or may have a wanna be cop(concerned citizen" calling crime stoppers.
Meso has "heavy traffic". Just keep track of the number of views some threads have. Write down the number when you log on one day and then compare that to the number the next day. If your house had that many visitors you would be considered "Hot", at the very least.

Both of these esteemed gentlemen have hit the nail on the head. I agree with CBS there needs to be something said from Stretch. I am one of a Stretch loyalist and in my limited time on the board and my dealings with Stretch he has always been on point and more than generous. So I am apt to give Stretch more room than I would give another source. I highly doubt things have gone south or at least I would like to think they haven't but if they have its all a part of this game. Just chalk it up and move on to the next one.


Bigben has nailed it, we were spoiled with the insane customer service and Stretch's generosity. He "trained" us to expect this from him so we all got spoiled. My view is to give it time before we call the dogs and say that Stretch has scammed us. I think he has warranted at least that much respect.
