I think going public was part of a premeditated disappearing act. More $$$.
I think that is everyone's greatest fear right now. The excuses are piling and with Stretch AWOL for 11 days and Atilla the Hun unable to give any answers or a reasonble explanation, it certainly looks bad. Very bad.
Most scams follow similar patterns. Usually the source starts off with a big sale (or opens to the public), followed by excuses of shippers gone bad, family problems, etc, until finally the rep/frontman goes MIA. These are classic warning signs of a scam unfolding. Anybody that's been around long enough to have seen a few big scams will have alarm bells go off upon hearing these excuses. And as I said before, Stretch is well aware that this reaction will happen, so that makes his abscence even more disconcerting.
Some have mentioned the possibility of this being an LE issue. I've never believed that to be the case. It seems too coincidental for LE to pile on top of all the other issues. And Stretch is also reporting a big GH order wasn't received, so that's another problem. When you actually step back and look at the big picture, even Stretch's most ardent supporters will have to admit it doesn't look good.
Only time will tell what's going on but as mentioned earlier, Bio should be considered high risk right now.
Earlier, I said these problems started prior to Bio going public but it appears I was wrong. Bio went public on Nov 21.
We are open to the public!
From now until December 31st. anyone can place an order with us, NO REFERRAL NECESSARY,
It was on Dec 2 that Bio closed, supposedly due the theft of stock by a shipper.
Stretch said at that time, "
we have contingencies in place to insulate ourselves from this very circumstance." Considering that people are still waiting for orders 5+ weeks later, it appears those "contingencies" were inadequate.
He also mentioned that he would be staying "
away from the boards for the most part." Why? It seems like a poor time to disappear. His presence was even more crucial at that time.
Biologic will be completely closed for a few days/weeks.
A shipper has disappeared on us with a large amount of our stock. I've talked to some people who know him, and apparently he is living quite large since he stopped taking our emails.
Its unfortunate, but it was also expected. No one should be concerned that they won't receive their gear. Everyone who ordered/paid will get everything they paid for, we have contingencies in place to insulate ourselves from this very circumstance.
Our desire to take care of those who have already paid, and been subsequently delayed, is the reason for us closing for a few days/weeks.
We will not reopen again, until everyone who has paid has gear in hand.
This couldn't have come at a worse time. We are going to work hard to be open by the 14th for the $1,000 drawing..if not we will just reschedule.
Sorry in advance guys.
While we are closed I will, most likely, be staying away from the boards for the most part.
However, on Dec 4, Stretch said he was having family problems and that "it is a struggle for me to be on the boards."
Again, Stretch said this was "
an expected hurdle that was planned for before it happened," and that "
There is enough gear on hand to fill our current paid orders 3 times over. We were very well stocked for our month of being public; so in one way, this couldn't have happened at a better time." And again, it now seems obvious that Bio had NOT "planned" for anything "before it happened."
Stretch said Bio would not be reopening until Bio had filled all outstanding orders but that has proven to be false.
For some family reasons that couldn't have possibly come at a worse time,
it is a struggle for me to be on the boards. I appreciate everyone who has defended us here. I will have someone here to represent Biologic, while I'm away, shortly. However, I got an email from a customer, asking if HE should defend us, so I figured I better say something. I understand a lot of people are, justifiably concerned, and that genuinely bothers me. I will try to allay your concerns as best as I can.
I knew this day would come.
So did I.
This is a growing pain, an expected hurdle that was planned for before it happened.
That being said, no amount of planning could have prepared me for the stress involved in the actual event.
There is enough gear on hand to fill our current paid orders 3 times over. We were very well stocked for our month of being public; so in one way, this couldn't have happened at a better time. On the other hand, it couldn't have happened at a worse time, since we were so busy.
We are working to figure out exactly when the shipper stopped working, and started stealing.
I think a realistic estimate is that by the end of next week, we will have all of our backorders filled.
At any rate, we won't reopening, until everyone who has paid has received everything they paid for. Period.
I'm genuinely sorry for the stress this event has caused our customers, I doubt it's any comfort, but it has been equally(at least) taxing on me.
I won't be responding to PM's until my personal circumstances allow it.
