Birth control , does it hinder progress?

Question for the ladies here, and maybe this has been discussed but I missed it. But how would birth control effect your progress? I did some research on what my gf uses, she lifts with me all the time and has made/is making great progress. But turns out her BC, lo loestrin, is basically estradiol tablets. I know, that's probably common knowledge for you ladies but it's not something I would normally look into. So this leads me to wonder, are any of you using BC with your cycles of aas? What are the consequences of this? It would seem contradictory if so. And I wouldn't recommend my gf to use aas for any reason, but is the extra estradiol not going to have a negative impact on progress in building lean tissue and avoiding adipose gain? Would there be benefit in discontinued use and alternate forms of contraceptive measures? Any info appreciated,

I personally have bad progress with BC, but that is across the board in all things, not just lifting. Some women are more sensitive than others.

I am afraid the only way to understand how her body works is to track her progress on BC, then off, keeping all other variables the same. It took me about 2 years of tracking and logging to understand how such things affected my training. I kept journals of daily training, feeling, emotion, hunger levels, strength alongside food/activity/supplementation logs.

We have discussed this in a couple threads already... I have also found that running cycles on and off bc is totally different... I found that running off bc gives better results and I get the full effect of the AAS I am using... I also used bc as my recoup time... kind of like a PCT in guys...as soon as I finished a cycle, and kept my menstrual dates recorded (my body works like clock work so I knew how to time it) so I knew when it should restart... I started up on bc... it helped me regulate my periods this way and they were absent for shorter periods of time... I'm no doctor but this was something that seems to work for me and I know Dr Jim and our other doc has commented on it before...
