Watched i vice documentary where people use bots to get likes and such, which makes then able to make money. By properly using the bot you can make things appear a certain way. Anyone hear of this? Seems amazingly interesting, and now people are making bots to sell. There are bot farms to pay someone to make there likes and followers go up.

Famous music artists do it, and thats how tickets get resold, and sneakers.

Yeah I watched that too. Its been around for a good long while. Once you start you have to keep using it though. You can't have 20k followers and 200 like on your posts. You have to buy likes each time you post to make it look real. It's really fucking stupid, and another reason why I just stay off instagram and shit. It is even more fake than anyone knows. Facebook stock dropped because they missed on revenue and had less daily and monthly active users than forecasted. How many if those do you think are fucking bots?? I would be willing to bet bots make up several million of Facebook/Insta entire user group.

I think almost all the celebrities use these bot services, and definitely a lot of the influencers who aren't actually famous but are just instafamous or whatever.

What's fucked up is that in the end they actually can make real money off of those fake bots. It is an investment, if done properly. There are girls getting paid 10s of thousands of dollars to post a single pic with a product...so their investment of a few grand up front for followers and some likes can really return thousands of percent ROI in the long run...but seems like it is a lot of effort, especially to get started.

Like I said, fuck social media. Fuck instagram. Fuck Facebook. Fuck youtube. Fuck Twitter and tiktok. Nothing is more annoying than hanging out with someone and they are sitting in their phone looking at fucking memes or girls asses on jnstagram.

These sites are horrible places where people go for the sole purpose of feeding an addiction. The usage of these sites directly causes as well as exacerbates all kinds of mental health issues. I am so fucking glad I deleted my shit and my girlfriend did too. It's incredible not having a girl who is obsessed with taking selfies all the time and glued to her phone. We actually spend time together lmao. Friends of mine just spend time "together" but mentally they are both in galaxies far far away from one another.

I bot shoes and other things.

Used to bot online video games like RuneScape and sell the gold when I was in 7th grade I’d make 300-500 bucks a week doing nothing but running these boys.

But the shoe bots I did about a year ago. I also botted PlayStation 5s. Got around 25 of them and sold them all 900-1300 bucks a piece. It’s a super cool thing to do and the behind the scenes stuff isn’t that hard to figure out. I have a nice collection of some rarer shoes because of the bot too got everything at retail and made profit on selling mostly everything on eBay

I actually dont have any social media at all, its amazing, i never have, as i see how toxic it is. I will only use it when i start working and getting big in personal training, to advertise my work.
Yeah I feel bad for people who's job shackles them to the prison that is social media.

People say "oh well you can curate what's in your feed. You can control it so you don't see things you don't like. The ONLY thing I see is puppies."

It's bullshit. Yes, you mostly see puppies. But guess what? There's a lot of non-puppy material on your feed too. You get advertisements and all kinds of "suggested content" that you click on every now and then and you wind up going down a rabbit hole of self destructive thoughts. I had an Instagram and all I posted or looked at was landscape photography. Instagram suggested I should follow Kim Kardasgian, some influencer big ass girl named something Fransoon, some actor I never heard of. it is constant. They try to get you to brand out and view other shit so you will engage for longer. And it works, I dint care who you are, if fucking works.

When insta shows a guy a link to some girls page who has a gigantic beautiful ass that is really nice but also all her pics are taken in butt lift yoga pants or jeans, at specific angles with specific lighting and a full face of makeup and whatever. It fucks with guys and girls. Guys wish their girl looked more like her, girls wish they could look that good. Or they see a guy and wonder why their guy can't look like him or doesn't have as much money as he appears to have on his fake ass social media profile lol. It really is fucked up and it really does fuck people up. Especially young people.

One more reason not to have kids. Te likelihood of them being happy/ content/ not mentally ill just continues to do down every fucking day lol

Interesting do you need alot of computer stuff? But you also really bought them all, later to make your money back and more?

Yeah my girlfriend has 2 nephews she basically raised from the time they were babies because the 30 year old mom wasn't ready to be a mom and was a single mom and couldn't afford childcare. My girlfriend was 18 and just moved to town and needed a place to stay so her sister said you can live with me if you want my kids during the day...(which also became on weekends because she wanted to go out and drink and dance every weekend lol). But basically she's been there done that with the baby/kid thing and realized that it is actually mostly just super stressful and shitty--not beautiful and magical like society pitches to you! lmao...so thankfully her doing that is why we met to begin with AND a big part of why she doesn't want to have kids, which I don't either. So our life goals align because of it. What a crazy world.

Anyway, those babies were so sweet and so nice and funny. Then they grew up. They got into 4th grade or so and got fucking cell phones. Now they're in middle school and high school and they're on instagram and tiktok and watching porn. You lose control of your kids and who they hang out with and what content they consume on social media has a huge impact on who they become in life: what their values are; what they enjoy doing what career they say they want to have. When they would come over all they would do is sit and look at their phones. Every once in a while she could get them talking and have a good conversation. They might play basketball or go outside for like 10 minutes...then they just want to go back on their phones. It's so sad. If you take their phones away they literally get withdrawals. This is documented shit in medical studies. People get physical and psychological withdrawals when their phones are taken away.

Parents really need to get NetNanny and fucking restrict the hell out of their kids internet activity FROM THE START. If you try to implement it when they're 10 they will have withdrawals and freak out and go nuts on you. They might even kill you. Kids have attempted suicide, they have assaulted and even KILLED their parents for taking their phones away or taking video games like fornite from them. If you google "kid killed parents for taking away <phone>/<fornite>/<videogames>" and similar stuff you'll find WAY TOO MANY articles about this stuff. I honestly didn't even KNOW that this had happened so many fucking times...it's insane.

We just desperately need to do something as a society to get these kids crack-addict brains off the crack that is social media and out into the world!!! The same goes for food too. You've got babies being fed ice cream and pizza hut. When you make a beautiful, homemade meal, your 5 year old starts CRYING, literally CRYING because his addict-brain wants a fucking taco from taco bell or some bullshit like that. I've seen it happen. It's pathetic, disgusting, and just heartbreaking at the same time.

The fact that people care THAT MUCH about this shit that they are willing to pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars to APPEAR like they have a following and get lots of likes is just disgusting. But that is what society is all about nowadays: appear popular; appear influential; appear rich. Thanks Dale Carnagie.

I've said this before, but it all started back in the 30s when things changed from the character ethic (actually being a good person and living according to your values) to the personality ethic (how to appear rich and influential and manipulate people to like to so you can get ahead in life). I personally still live by the character ethic. I despise the personality ethic.

Interesting do you need alot of computer stuff? But you also really bought them all, later to make your money back and more?
I have a 1700$ computer I built when I was 18 I was a gaming nerd hahaha. You really don’t need that crazy of a computer but it helps when you run them 24/7 waiting for restocks. I’d wake up to 3-5 every restock. Which is 1500-3000$+ profits. But I got maybe 3 of them manually and realized you can make serious money, bought a bot for 400$ and got a bunch more put it all on my credit card and then sold them. Then resold the bot after they started selling for 700 because 150 isn’t really worth the time of it all.

Basically risk free as you could return the the ps5 back to Walmart/target.

You need to learn how to set up proxies, which company has the best ones, which bot is best.you have to learn how to set up the bots as well. There is whole markets I had a 3000$ shoe bot at one point. It’s nice because the boys fluctuate in price based on updates and how successful they were. Their is discord groups called cook groups you can join and learn on.

The ps5s would literally be sold before I even got them ordered. It was awesome having my own little company running for a while. The shoe part was a little more complicated because you had to really jig addresses use different cards etc which their is websites you can hook your card up too and generate 10 different cards at once.

Man I miss doing it.

I totally agree with that. I got temp banned from IG because was insulting people (lol) and without it I'm feeling definitely better. I don't like to be influenced by these shit. I only check Facebook for Lyle McDonald group.

This has been a thing since the beginning of the internet and computer programming :P

it’s been around for a long time for social media, they are called SMM panels (some are better then others) and you can use them to get more views, likes, etc.

this website: www.blackhatworld.com is where i found smm panels and you can become a reseller when joining a panel and sell retweets, likes, views followers, etc and make your own money on the side.

I really fucking hate you for this :D

But seriously, I remember getting really frustrated trying to buy one at retail price and I would go to all of the sites at the time of drop and still could never get one, even after a dozen or so tries. And I knew it was boys buying them all up. Luckily I had a buddy help me get one I retail. I REFUSED to pay over retail for one.
