Just get some open top caps and some silicone septas to put own your media bottles and then you can draw from the bottle just like a vial with no exposure to outside elements. I also sterilize my vials with a small piece of foil over the top, after allowing the alcohol to evaporate. Then I just pierce the foil and inject the oil into the vial and leave covered until I'm ready to cap the vials.

Can you re-use the silicone septas more than once, like give it an alcohol bath? If you're only drawing out of it to transfer into the vials seems like a waste to use it just once?

Yea. You can use them more than once. They are kinda expensive so they better be reusable lol

I just got a bunch of them by accident. Never had or used a silicone one before. They really are fantastic. Adds a certain flair I guess if you were brewing and selling but the regular ones are good for the average brewer.

I've never seen the rubber ones for a gl45 top. If I did I would have just used those since they would have been much less expensive

My bad bro I thought we were talking about vials. A silicone stopper for a media bottle would be awesome. To be honest I didn’t know that was a thing. I have a few media bottles that are full with compounds that I have to transfer to a smaller vial. I’m going to look into that.

This is what happens when you forget about a syringe full of npp for a year. The plunger was majorly disfigured.

I need some help guys,
Ive tried to sterilize my vials but they come out freaking dark out of the oven.
I take used vials, wash and rinse them with dish washer detergent, then i soak them in medical sterilizing solution and then i rinse then with destilet water.
I bake them 500f for one and half hour.
What im doing wrong?

What you brewing up for the next cycle you got planned?
Got some more raws to make more frog juice. Wasn’t happy with my last batch. A little to much pip that I think I can get rid of. Most of the stuff is for later on down the road. As far as my next cycle I haven’t fully decided if it’s going to a sus or test e and tren e. I’m thinking like 600/600 or one of the raws I picked up was Trest. I’d like to try it but not sure if or what I’d stack with it.

It looks like you have some sort of residue still on the vial that’s burning. I think it could be the left over oil/hormone or the dish washer soap. That stuff sticks a lot. I’d use just a good degreasing soap like Palmolive or Dawn. Get a bottle cleaner that will fit inside and scrub the shit out of it with hot water. Spend a good amount of cleaning and rinsing. You can rinse with tap water till it’s as clean as you can get it then use the distilled water at the end to rinse the tap water out. Try hot air drying first then baking in the oven after they are fully dry.

Yeah that’s definitely the problem then. Scrub them good. Rinse them better and you should be fine. You could also do an alcohol bath after the distilled water rinse. I would play around with that one. Maybe some with the bath and some without just to experiment. Without a doubt though spend the time scrubbing cleaning and rinsing and you shouldn’t have a problem.
