Can a Christian be gay?

I'm not a theist or gay. I did have a buddy that was both 30+ years ago. He felt that bad about the conflict after heavy de-homo therapy he could not stop his gayness so he hung himself in the chicken run in his back yard. His mother found him. He died a virgin ie never acted on his gay impulses.

Incidentally that's when I became an atheist.

So xians, let's hear some preaching on it. I want to hear it.

I don't believe in fairy tales so I personally think people who are religious are sick not the folks that are gay.

My parents are God fearing catholics so I had that shit rammer down my throat.... Luckily when I went to church I didn't have anything else rammed down my throat

Shitty story OP.

My family is brought up Catholic, or Christian. I honestly can't remember as I always hated it from a very young age. My brother is a homo. I always tell him he's going to hell... and that I'll see him there ;)

Ha, that's sweet.

What's up with catholic or christian, I hear that a lot these days. Actually you can't be a catholic and not be a christian ... makes no sense.

Its like a trout saying he's not a fish he's a trout......this happens to be a talking trout etc.

Is this a born again gay trout?

Undoubtably.

I am a man who believes I will become high quality fertilizer after death and I'm very happy with that. If you need/want a higher power to set you in a path that is good for humanity great but the moment you pick and choose which testiment or command is fine to follow and which aren't is when you've lost both humanity and your religion.

I've read the bible and the Quran for devils advocate sake. In both they have similar phrasing along the lines of treat everyone how you wish to be treated and love everyone without prejudice or presumption.

It doesn't matter race/sex/oreintation/creed/culture we all bleed red and we all turn to dirt so unless you present a part of yourself to the world that is in itself harmful to others then live and let live.

I will always be kind to others even if they are unkind to me not as a sign of respect to them or of cowardness but to show what my true character is, unless you touch my dog then I will torture you so brutally it will make Gerard Butlers torture scene in "law abiding citizen" look like a kitty film in comparison.

Just get a dog like mine, you touch it and you have a bloody stump where your hand was, SRS.

My 120lb German Shepard does just fine he is a giant amongst hobbits when around other dogs but my principle applies. He has scared off bears from my camp and faught a dog that attacked me so I will do the same for him.

No offence but y'all dogs are gay christian trout fish dogs.

My dog is the best in the planets.

Absolutely a Christian can be gay.
A lot of the Old Testament laws no longer apply to us since the death of jesus. Now god still doesn't recognize same sex marriage, and sex out of wedlock is still a sin regardless of sexual orientation.
It'd be like asking "If I bang this chick without marrying her can I still be a Christian?"
The answer is yes. And of course some congrigations will ban you from their church. But those churches are not ones you want to be apart of anyways.

There are churches that have openly gay couples and openly gay leaders.

Bullshit, read your fucking bible.

Jesus actually said evey word in the OT is to be enforced.

Worse than a fundamentalist is a cherry picking hippy-Jesus loving Christian that is biblically illiterate.

I was never raised in church, never said a prayer or a blessing, and was probably an athiest most my life. Then one day I decided to walk into a church by myself. My life was confusing, my marriage was going to shit, and no matter what I did it didn't seem to make me feel any better. Boats, cars, fancy dinners, none of that made me satisfied.

Something felt like it was missing, I had this hole on my heart, like an emptyness all the time. All I can speak for is myself here, but having experienced a serious life change after learning about God and trying to see God through other people and beauty, my life became better.

But I don't judge people who don't believe, I was one of them before. I laughed at people who prayed and chalked them up as weak. Then one day I was weak and had no place to turn anymore. I found God myself because I needed him. Therefore I don't force my beliefs on anyone.

We are experiments to aliens
I know this for a fact
It took two tokes of some top shelf herb and about 600mg of DXM

Say what you want but they are watching us and they don't care I tell you this I know it but look for the signs seriously because they are out there..

I could get deeper into the signs but
I won't because most of you are just going to laugh at me o_O

Fuck you phaggit;

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:18-19“It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” (Luke 16:17)“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.” (Matthew 5:17)“Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law” (John7:19)
