defense against accusation
some men who otherwise have either "average" or less-than-average animosity to homosexuality at one point may then become highly hostile to it if they themselves r accused of it....and further, the more widespread the accusation, the more profound the hostility displayed. the change in attitude is commonly internal as well as external. regarding rape, it is apparently common for beta-males in prison to join in as additional assailants in homosexual gangrapes becuz they hope to take a target OFF their backs and showing themselves to be aggressors.having cast "homo suspicion" upon himself with his male-rape admissions, musulman now displays intensified homophobia.
being a victim of homosexual assault
this should be fairly obvious, those who r sexually assaulted by a member of the same sex r much more likely to display exceptional homophobia as a result...regardless of whatever the victim considered their sexual orientation to be, before or after the assault. this can also push the victim into being an aggressor themselves, "continuing the cycle of abuse". there is no data on musulman in this regard, tho one could hazard guesses.
