You probably know this, but if you have trouble sleeping then imo adding tren is going to make things a lot worsehey all,
been dealing with not being able to stay asleep, and more recently, falling asleep, albeit i don’t see it as much of an issue. i get 4-5 hours of poor sleep and feel mid throughout the day.
stats:
6ft, 185lbs (around 12% BF)
my stack:
300 test (started with 200, slept fine on it) still sleep fine since upping
2mg tesamorelin pre bed
3mg tirz weekly
adding soon
70mg tren ace weekly
adding tren has me worried for how my sleep quality may end up.
i haven’t been able to consistently stay asleep and always wake up around 2-4 am, with my bedtime being 9pm. i believe i might be having a cortisol spike in the morning but I’m unsure what could be causing it. i eat a TBSP of honey pre bed to steer away from any possible hypoglycemic wakings. i also wake several times throughout the night to pee, even with being conservative of fluid intake after 3pm.
additionally, i haven’t been able to get good deep sleep (according to my apple watch)
i’ve taken:
400-1.2g magnesium glys pre bed (not much effect)
400mg l-theanine
5-htp
2-3g GABA
1200mg ashwaghanda (lowered my cortisol under the ref. range!)
i have trazodone and gabapentin on hand but i don’t want to start relying on them to sleep. i want to see if there’s any other drugs, tips or supplements that could help this sleep issue.
other stats:
training 6x a week
no anxiety, i feel kickass
eating in a slight surplus~ maintenance
5-10k steps daily
always wake and sleep at same time
I ended up dropping the Tren. Too much for me to handle. Hope this thread can help you find some sleep solutions, I turned to THC and weed… not the best solution. You probably know this, but if you have trouble sleeping then imo adding tren is going to make things a lot worse
But it mad i just came across this post because for the last 2 weeks i have had a really hard time with sleeping.
It could be caused by a few things, like first ...i broke a bone in my hand in work 2 weeks ago and its possible that going from the routine of getting up early and having a physical job 6 days a week to being at home doing nothing has messed with me.
Also i noticed ive been using my TRT GEL At night and when I wake up instead of just in the morning and there is some evidence to show that higher androgenic effects like those caused by the peak of the daily dose can make you more alert etc
And im also about 10 weeks into returning to training after a long hard 3 year of recovery from multiple quite serious illnesses and i decided that i hadn't used nandrolone in years so i thought I'd give it a try at 300mg a week, and of course after 5 weeks i end up on 600mg weekly as well as adding 250mg sustanon to my prescribed TRT and the accumulation of hormones is now affecting my sleeping.
I actually gave up at around 9am this morning after 2 nights of finally getting to sleep only to wake up and only half hour had gone by, i was so tired eyes stinging, i took zopiclone and valium and actually slept for about 5 hours until my mrs came home and woke me up
Im going to read through the thread and see if there’s any good advice on sleep problems...hopefully you sort it soon
Mirtazapine is the answer:I'm taking all of them except curcumin and 5htp and my sleep is trash. I'm also on tren now but it was the same before, I'll have to quit reta entirely to see if this is the real issue. I'm sleeping like a brick for 3-4 hours and then i can't stay asleep, usually waking up 6-10 times in the next 3 hours. Yesterday i had 25 minutes rem lol.. still scared to try Z drugs though.

How do you find the groginess , fatigue the next morning? 7.5mg had me hungover bad.Mirtazapine is the answer:

Yeah the Zolpidem (Ambien) didnt do anything for me. When I told my Dr I didnt see any improvement she pulled it and replaced it with Eszopiclone (Lunesta) and that shit worked like a charm. Still does. Had slight improvement at 1mg, but when I switched to 2mg it was like my "sleep switch" was flicked back on. The euphoria I felt is a high I'll be chasing the rest of my life lolWill keep that in mind for next blast. I’m taking zolpidem just the half of it though (5mg) but it doesn’t do much. It gets me sleepy but last night i still slept under 4 hours.. it’s fcking brutal. And I’m off tren already since a few days.
Lower doses are worse. 30mg and up is less fatiguing. To be honest I have more issues with Sertraline making me fatigued. Recently had to reduce the dose of sertraline after I increased it due to be zombified the next day.How do you find the groginess , fatigue the next morning? 7.5mg had me hungover bad.
In regard to tren sides it is the daddy though as it's a fairly potent anti histamine & a lot of tren sides are from the build of histamine & also not being able to remove that excess histamine from the body.
Trazadone does the same job to a lesser degree & leaves me with no groggy mornings, so 50mg a night works wonders on low dose tren.
Mental sides are hugely reduced on either drug due to their Moa but mirtazapine can raise appetite substantially also which is not ideal whilst on a cut!
Really that's interesting. Tbh i jst took the usual approach with it in regard to most meds / compounds , lowest dose first & titrate up. After feeling like i'd done a 72hr bender finished off with 30mg nitrazapam on 7.5mg i didn't think i'd experiment further. Also it was either placebo or the tren but during that night i still woke up & smashed 100g of carbs! The tren other than initially on 25mg a day hasn't done that with me , all whilst jst titrating up to 6mg reta!Lower doses are worse. 30mg and up is less fatiguing. Using a GLP, I honestly don't think that will happen but I I guess its a probability.Sadly no. Just word of mouth. Just try it and see what happens. If you don’t wanna gain fat right now or regress in body comp for whatever reason I’d advise against it though
May not be the best solution but if it works roll with it. Its better than prescription drugs imo.I ended up dropping the Tren. Too much for me to handle. Hope this thread can help you find some sleep solutions, I turned to THC and weed… not the best solution.
You need to take 30mg minimum. It increases noradrenaline which contracts the fatigue at that dose and above. Before that it's an incredibly strong anti histamineReally that's interesting. Do you know what though i'm due a refeed xmas day so i may jst try 15 - 22.5mg xmas eve for experimental sakes to test your theory as i know it's the better drug for sleep , tren sides in general & a decent uptake in serotonin.
Do you take before bed? Therefor not interfering with your sleep at that dose? You need to take 30mg minimum. It increases noradrenaline which contracts the fatigue at that dose and above. Before that it's an incredibly strong anti histamine
I take it 30 mins before sleep. It instantly zonks me out. It's very hard to stay awake after it hits you.Do you take before bed? Therefor not interfering with your sleep at that dose?
