Two w3 12s or 10s hit hard as fuck with 750 watts at 2 ohms. Obnoxiously. I have always bought 3s... I only sprang the bucks because I didn't want to take up a lot of room in the truck. I have a lot of sponsees up in there and I hate taking my kids seat out if there, so a single woofer box fits the bill.

Just ordered my box. It can hold 2 w3. What’s good amp for them? Is there a 5 channel amp that will run everything or is 2 amps better? 1 for doors and 1 for subs

I've always liked the 2 amp setup. A crusher for the subs & a super clean amp for everything else. Not saying you can't have both in the same amp but typically I like to run a shitload of watts (4000-8000 this build) to the sub & that doesn't leave a lot of room for anything else on that kind of amp. The Orion XTR 2500.D just dyno at 7000 plus at lower than I ohm & it's under $400 bucks. 20 yrs ago that amp would cost a buck a watt lol.

Same as he sai. Monoblock for sub and multi channel amp for the rest of the car

And a jl 750 watt amp is more than enough for the subs. Just wire them down if you dont get a variable resistance amp

I just reached out to the guy at the shop. It better be, I'm leaving the car with them for most of the week next week, while I'm out on business.

Are the subs 10w3? If not get w3! That will be an excellent set up... labor, assuming they do a perfect job, is reasonable. I was on the fence about the laser/radar myself... but it was too rich for the limited speeding I do. An m4 will need it.

I wasn't convinced, but when he showed me how they, explicitly tested it; all reason went out the window and i was sold. These fuckers used a client's Ferrari for real (but not unsafely mind you) to demonstrate up against local 5-0.

Yea I was wondering... you can power them with 600 at 2 ohms... did they give you the hd1000 or the xd1000? I would go with the 750, but I am thinking they are trying to avoid new batteries and alternator since he has the other 2 amps as well.

My first system was 2 10w3 with a Rockford 500 punch. Loud. As. Fuck.

Sound deadening everything cause the new cars are made of tin lol. Also this is just preparation for the eventual upgrade. But I'm actually shocked with the Orion HCCA, I'm it's 5000 watts max & takes it like a champ.

Back in the day Orion made a 50 watt hcca amp that would push 4 15's like a mother fucker... I dunno how the new stuff is but sounds like it's very similar
