There are whole sites (like this one) dedicated to messing with these scammers. Some of the tricks they play are pretty funny. None of the scammers are really vulnerable, though, unless you like to travel and happen to have a private army to back you up.
 
They would have to send you the cease and desist personally, not DM your wife. If they do end up contacting you personally call the law firm to make sure its legit, from there you have two choices take down the FB or hire an attorney.

The DM was an attempt to get to me, not serve a cease and desist. The C&D mention was simply a way to get my attention I believe. They have contacted me personally, after I initiated the conversation. I feel like you didn't read the whole thread....

No. I think they can't find out who I am in real life and are uncertain what to offer. If I make 30k a year, my offer would be low. If I make 300k a year, the offer would have to be higher. Ime, that's the delay.

SCAM! Just have fun with it now, tell them you will only accept if you get 99% of they’re profit for the next 25 years and the Virginiaty if their daughters on the 3rd day after their 20th birthday.
 
You know, I am growing impatient on this one. Kinda like, why the fuck are you going to tell someone you're going to make a financial offer and then not tell them you won't be? I suppose it could still happen later this week. I may circle back and ask her how things are going on her end.
