Hey,

Im an 19 years old guy 191 lbs 5'8
Bench 285lbs
Squat 485lbs.
Deadlift 530
Im rated 2nd in Israel, i still have no idea how my last lift got 2 red and 1 white, but that was okay as the meet was Push&Pull only and it was my first meet.
Im thinking of participating in Europe open powerlifting competition In decemeber.

Now, i've asked before about steroid use and most of you was against and i understand your point of view as i can hurt my self more than i can get a benefit, I've never used steroid and was against it totally till mind 20's but now as im participating in a national level I'm thinking to run something that can push me up and increase my lifts.
My diet is in check, 600 surplus right now eating about 3200 calorie a day, i dont drink alcohol ( 1-2 times a month only and its a few bottles of beer ), I've never smoked in my life and i work at a supplement store so i can eat every 3 hours.

A trainer i know Suggested the use of Anavar, I've read that its "Mild" but at 50mg i guess it will shut me down, I've searched in alot of fourms, studies and all, Test E first cycle was the most recommended with the right PCT.
I've been experincing Knee pain and shoulder pain and it sucks im using Vitamin D3 , Curcomin ,Omega 3 and Animal flex and thats not helping as my joints getting smashed.
Now money is not a problem for me if you are considering an expensive compound so im ready to here suggestions and if the Test or anykind of steroids will shut my growth plates, do you recommend to visit the doctor and to ask him for a X ray photo to see where my growth plates are at?

Thanks all i really appreciate your help!

Don't ruin your life. I'm not talking about steroids either. Compete for fun. 99.9 percent of powerlifters and bodybuilders make no money from it. It's a very lonely life with little return on investment.

Dont make big decisions at age 19. Go to school, or continue to work and save your money.

And get the fuck out of Isreal. Go to a country where 3 stupid religions aren't fighting over the same piece of land, which none of them have claim to.

End rant

Damn man, you sound like you know me, well im leaving to Munich next month on 21th of june to be exact as i have to study german for a year in order to study in their universities, Medicine is the way to go, i live in israel im chrisitian and i can tell you chrisitans dont fight anyone we are living a happy life and thats it but im sick of the problems here and looking to live in a place where i'm happy and safe.
Now, yeah i powerlift for fun because as i told you i'm a future doctor but to be honest with you this is the first time im thinking seriously about competing in nationals, because i can drop my water weight as the weigh ins are supposed to be 24 hours before the meet, and i guess these numbers for someone who just turned 19 ( my bday was yesterday btw ) would be good but im stuck for about 2 months with these numbers, and joints are killing me. what do you say?

You sound like an intelligent person SS. You understand the risks involved, I'm not going to tell you how to live your life, but don't ask us if it is cool to begin using AAS at 19. The answer will always be no.

If your joints are sore slow down. They are sore from over use.

You have a good head on your shoulders so i dont wanna tell you what to do, so
My personal opinion-

Pauly hit the nail on the head. Once you fuck up your hormones its very tough to get them back on track bro, and when youre 19 your hormones are already surging. Doing a cycle and shutting down your natty test at this age will be a bitch post cycle, and your natural test levels will probably never return to as high as they were pre cycle naturally.
19-20 year olds make threads on here quite frequently with broken dicks panicking, u dont want to be one of those guys my friend.

I'm not gonna tell you anything that these guys haven't already said. You're a young man with your whole life ahead of you, this is a life changing decision. Just remember the people who suggest you try something at your age might now have your long term health in their best interests.

At 19, you'll progress your lifts just fine without gear. When you're 25 and your total has gradually crept up over 1500 + (and it will with diligent work and good programming), then add gear and look out!!

I'll give you the same answer on this forum too. You need to get stronger and hit your genetic potential. You haven't exhausted your natural gains and at this point you should train intelligently for several years and hone your powerlifting technique before even considering aas.

plus you're 19. your endocrine system won't even have matured until 25.

if you do fuck yourself up though. don't come back here crying begging for help with you can't get your cock to rise.

Hey man, Yes i'm not the usual teen whos looking to start cycling to get the attention of girls and to be the real MVP in high school,I'm just looking to participate in future meets and as you know in national level theres no one who's not injecting.
I really wish that there's drug-free meets, for those under 25.
I'm asking about this because im pretty sure all of you know better than me.

You've only been to 1 meet but yet you're ranked #2 in Israel?
I'm sorry i may be wrong, I'm rated 2nd in Israel from age 13-19, was unlucky to get 2 reda and 1 white flag for my last deadlift, it wasn't the best deadlift ever but totally legal, as everyone was there said, sadly the refs only speak russian so there was no way to ask, but being 2nd from my first meet is quite good.

First of all i really appreciate your help, its my body and you're caring like its yours, but as you know it's impossible to compete at national level without gear, but if you think it's not worth it to run 500mg for 10 weeks with the best PCT available, I wouldn't touch steroids, I'm talking as a man, I'm here to hear opinions from guys like you, If you don't think it's worth it, End of discussion,NO.

I know that but the progress is really slow, and my muscles cant hold it anymore , I've jumped to 5000 calories diet, including pancakes and maple preworkout and still sore with really really sore injuries , though took 10 days off after the meet.

Got it man, I was wondering would running 1 cycle only with the right PCT wouldn't be "SAFE" or theres still a huge risk of getting a sleepy cock?

It's not worth it. You're strong, and at 19 you're gonna keep improving at a rate where steroids just aren't necessary. Consider at 25 ish depending on where your progress and interests are. U may not even care about lifting in another 6 years.

I understand that. Good luck. You can search for any information you need here. I don't know of any board that would support a 19yo using PED's. You are on your own for a couple years.

I was one of those guys. My shits good now but damn it took a while. I won't put my opinion down on this one because you seem... less dumb than the other kids posting on here. At least you have a good base to start out with unlike the others.

A 2 month stall is nothing. I'm young and a powerlifter as well and I'd say stay off the juice for a while. You simply don't need it, there are so many different programs you can run still to add poundage. Hell I couldn't even tell you if my maxes have stalled in a 2 month period cuase you shouldn't be testing them that often anyways. Work in the 7.5-9RPE range and only test your maxes at meets or a scheduled mock meet time

I know exactly what you are talking about, as i mentioned before I considered steroids when i had no "other choice" maybe there is another but I'm doing some Physical therapy, Massages 1 time a week each, and still cant lift without feeling the hurt, my warm up is really good, actually I do everything Alan thrall said and it works great, the thing is that the joints are getting crushed and im getting depressed because i cant lift heavy and feeling my strength going down, It was extremly hard for me to deadlift 405 for 5 today, managed to hit 4 and they was touch and go only too sadly.
The other reason as i mentioned im thinking of participating in Europe powerlifting competiton.

Steroids aren't going to help that. If anything g your going to make injuries worse. You need to train smarter if your hurting this bad at 19. There's good pains and bad pains from lifting and you need to be able to tell the difference.
