Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

You can recover from it? Too many sets frys my ass
Yeah, on Meadows i was in the gym 5 days a week running the volume as above or more. My body just adapted to the amount of volume I was doing. I will admit one leg day was nuts... I had to stop before I finished it. Felt sick, out of sorts, couldn't get my wind, and felt like that for a few days. Since then no issues though.

We need to keep in mind I wont be running volume like that with the intensity of PL. Which I am happy to say starts Monday

I can handle a ton of non big three lift volume too. I guess I can handle a pretty decent amount of big three volume too. Sheiko doesn't seem crazy to me like a lot think it is.
I think most can handle volume. It is just getting through the first 3 to 4 weeks. In that time your body is saying what the fuck are you doing, then it succumbs to it as the norm and adapts. 531 is definately 180bthe other way lol

Lack of volume was my biggest complaint about 5/3/1. The BBB template was about the most volume that I remember.

I used to do a ton of calisthenics volume before I started lifting weights. Like 50x50 push ups in a day or 50x10 chin ups in a day. Might've permanently increased my work capacity or something.

Couldn't agree more, and i think after this 4 week block of hypertrophy and volume I may be looking for a change.

Weighed this am at 215.2 so gained a pound the last couple weeks, so the camp food did end up putting on weight, and explains some increase in weights at the gym. I nee to hit 200 soon so I can get back to eating and getting numbers up. Maybe since starting drol and var next week if I should cut cals a little harder

Sounds like some Jailhouse Strong type shit

What do they call it, MRV? Max recoverable volume.

Exactly. Had nothing else to do.
Yup, MRV. I could handle about the same amount of sets in a session but train more frequently with less weight and slightly higher reps. Took me about a month to figure it out. I don’t think I could have made the small amount of progress I did without it.

Looking for thoughts

I have the one week left of drol at 50mg/day then 5-6 weeks of var, depending on 50mg or 60mg a day.

I was thinking running both together for the first week or so
